| The pressure is on! Well, my best friend from TX is coming out with her two kids to visit this month! We are both so excited we could split!! Both our DH's are deployed, and we are making the best of it. While they are here, we are taking her two children to Disneyland for the first time!! Her two children are the same ages and sex as my two youngest, so they have built-in buddies. My dilemma? I want to make sure they have the best possible time and see the best the park has to offer in the two days we are there. We will have dinner with the Princesses the first day, and a late lunch at the Blue Bayou the second day, when we are celebrating DD's birthday, and finish up with breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen the morning that we leave. Of course, it's peak season, so we'll arrive in the morning to beat the crowds, leave in the afternoon for the swim/nap combo, the 3 year olds are our weakest link, then return for evening entertainment. The first day, we'll do Disneyland for a couple of hours, then off to opening at DCA for rides and shows. Park hoppers are a must on this trip! We'll be using FP religiously to maximize our time. I feel like I'm forgetting something!!! We never stress when we tour, because if we don't see it this time, we'll see it next time. But they may not get back to Disneyland for years! Does anyone else feel the pressure when going to Disneyland with friends or family who've never been. She's put herself into my hands and I don't want to let them down. |

| Sounds like you have a good plan. I understand your pressure as we often take other family or friends or my pre-school students with us. Last year we took a girl visiting from Germany who may never see DL again. Just remember that since they have never been - they will just enjoy everything they do get to do and won't know what they are missing out on! Slow down and enjoy the magic!
