Nice to see them sort of "bring back" the old House of the Future in a new way!

DD was bummed that it wasn't open yet, this week. But we got to peek downstairs at it. It is on our list of things to do for August!
We did get to see Asimo, Honda's robot, while there. I was rather impressed, albeit a bit creeped out. I think it was the robot's childlike voice.

They probably didn't want people using it (or trying to if it's not hooked up) as they tour the house.

I'm sorry to say I wasn't impressed. It was very cold and stark with an overload of computers and digital frames,

We were there yesterday, and I wasn't very impressed overall. My 9yo son, however, was thrilled! He's a technology guy, though, so that explains it.

We did have a nice experience in the pirate-themed bedroom. A CM sat down and told a short "Peter Pan" story, and the room elements complemented the story. The screens showed scenes from the movie, the lighting changed, and the cannon on the bed was set off a few times (a bit loud for the toddlers in the group, though!). It was a sweet storytime.
