I was really sad to see some of the changes planned:
News: Disneyland Resort president discusses expansion | disney, grier, disneyland, hotel, plans - OCRegister.com

Golden Dreams
California Letters - Everyone had to have pictures by these!
Golden Gate Bridge Structure

I'm new to DL. First trip was 2005. But am I glad we were able to see these things! I hope DS#1 Luke has pictures of it all!

Of course out with the old and in with the new:
12 Changes Coming to Disneyland Including a New Tinker Bell Attraction

A possible 3rd park on 88 acres? Interesting.

This October the Tinker Bell ride should open? Tinker Bell is getting very popular, especially with the addition of her fairy friends. I think it's a good theme for a ride.

The "Tinkerbell Attraction" is going to be a photo spot. Not a ride. boo hoo. It will be Tink and some of her fairy friends.

That's what we thought when it was closed last weekend. Somehow we missed it on our May trip and I was soooo disappointed. But I'm not sure it was that popular for most guests. I just love California history.

Thanks for the article. I am sad about the letters being taken down. I'm glad we got to see them as candy corn and candy canes. Looks like we'll have to plan a trip for 2012 or 2013 when everything is updated.

Well I'm excited about the changes at DCA as I think there are empty areas where new attractions can go and give us more stuff to see or ride--- I think we need an Everest type roller coaster in DCA but that's just me

They really need to have more scenery of CA. I like the red wood area next to GCH with the country road.

They are removing the CALIFORNIA letters and the Golden Gate structure??? That makes me sad. I am very interested to hear more about this new park, though!

In a way I'm hoping to have more of the past of Ca and get to see how it might of felt in the 30's. Also it will almost look like Disney's Hollywood Studios (in FL) in the front.

I really like the CALIFORNIA sign in the front. I really hope that they would do an old town set up with the whole gold rush theme. I miss that at Knott's now, the ghost town they use to do tours and now NOTHING but shop's. If they did a Walk of fame in the hollywood area with the Disney Characters as the star's in the ground and maybe even the Character's Hand and feet print's in front of the Theatre in the hollywood area would be pretty kool too.
