Shopping for Disney Apparel

Can anyone tell me if the shops at Disneyland sell plus size apparel up to 3x for women? My daughter and I will be doing our fair share of shopping and hope we won't be disappointed with the size range of women's clothes available.

Is that one of the stores in Disneyland? It's been so long since I've been there, about 14 years, that I don't remember.

This is the largest store at DL--- the tram from the parking lot will drop you off by this store in DTD but I usually shop at end of day so don't have to lug around the bags

You mean Downtown Disney? That's off the Disneyland property, right? I will be renting a car so it won't be hard to get there. Hopefully we will find some fun clothes for both of us. My daughter just adores Tinker Bell and all the princess's. I have to admit, even though she is 21 and has the mind of a six year old, I think I am much more excited about this trip than she is.

You will be dropped off at Downtown Disney before you even get to the entrances to DL and DCA

I feel like that kid in the commercial about their family taking a trip to DW or DL (i forget which) but he says "i'm too excited to sleep". But for me it's "i'm to excited to focus on working" all I want to do is plan for my trip.

DTD is part of the parks/resort. It's no further walking to DTD than it is to walk from one park to the other. You also walk through DTD when you walk from the resorts to DL (You pass World of Disney on the way to Grand Californian and go through all of DTD to get to Disneyland Hotel).

The offerings for plus sizes are slim pickings, especially with the trend for slimmer sillouettes on the cut of shirts. I usually find 1 or 2 shirts, but DL definitely offers less than what I found at WDW last year - but I'm also a 1X, so I can go for XXL if necessary - that may help me find a few more shirts. I've never found pants nor dresses that worked and their nightshirts are all OSFA (or OSFM), which we Pooh-sized guests know doesn't include us!

I can't remember the store name but it was on Main Street. I bought a hoodie jacket. It was an XL, but they did have plus sizes in that style. We were there for only a day, so there wasn't much shopping to be had, but let us know what you find when you get there!

Also, I found that the candy inside the park was less expensive then what was sold in Downtown Disney. Wonder if it's the same for apparel?

If it was the big one on the right (at the corner) as you exit the park, then it was the Emporium.

They also had some cute (although pricey) stuff at the store by Grizzly River Rapids in DCA when we were there over Memorial Day. I'm hoping it's still there when I go next month!
