February reopening of HM & SW

We are planning on being at DL Friday Feb. 13th. Currently, the calendar is showing that HM & SW will be closed until the following Monday. I am guessing that they are both closed for the removal of the holiday decor. Can anyone tell me from past experience might they reopen them early, especially since that weekend is President's Day weekend?

Soft openings are always a possibility. I can't say with certainty if that's been the case in the past, but with many rides reopening after refurbs, it's common to see them open a few days ahead of schedule...I'd just not count on it.

I've seen soft openings for refurbs and new rides, but not for holiday overlay removals...those are usually right on schedule...but ya never know...it could happen!

We'll be there the weekend before, and when I checked the calendar only HM was to be closed. It didn't say anything about IASW.

Oops. I didn't realize that in CA -- SW is Sun Wheel. Sorry about that!
DH is bummed that it won't be operating while we're there.

I just looked at the schedule for Thursday 2/12 and Friday 2/13 because we'll be there on those days too.

2/12 Closed for Refurbishment: Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Matterhorn Bobsleds (DCA) Burger Invasion, Sun Wheel

2/13 Closed for Refurbishment: Haunted Mansion (DCA) Burger Invasion, Sun Wheel

The past couple of weeks what's been on the closed list has changed at least three times with the only constant being HM.
