| Wow... while I'm a traditionalist and I love to be able to go back and see a beloved ride/attraction from my childhood, I also understand that Disney has to find ways of funneling people into lesser ridden rides. I love IASW, but I can't get *anyone* I travel with to go in it anymore (unless, of course, they're there to mock me for still being mad about WDW's white room's bagpiper being off music.) If they bring in characters that will appeal to the target audience of Fantasyland and it allows them to charm the kids AND teach them the wonderful message of IASW... well... I see it as a win-win situation. I'm sure I'll have tomatoes thrown at me for saying that, but it's how I feel. Eileen

| I think it's pure garbage. I guess it fits in though, with the dumbing down of america and rides (see mexico, spaceship earth, and now this). I wonder if they are going to make this change in WDW as well? Maybe next they will have the Ipod ride. Or if you miss a show you can just tivo it in the parks.....................................

I once stayed on the boat to go around more times than I'd like to admit during extra magic hours! I was dialing friends and playing he song on their phone. (Unfortunately, now I have no friends left!I hope they don't mess it up like (IMHO) they did with Imagination.

| I think it depends on whether they succeed with whatever "story" they are trying to tell. When they lack that (as they have with the changes to the Imagination ride and several other recent attractions), the ride stinks. When they have the story in place -- or great characters to carry you along, then it totally, totally works for me. If they can marry the IASW ride with the addition of the "audience draw" characters and do this successfully, meaningfully, and unforgettably... then it'll be a great ride. I'm anxious to go read reviews (hopefully BALANCED ones) of the new DLR IASW. Eileen

I just hope they don't change it the way they changed the Gran FIesta Tour. The old one was so relaxing and romantic and this one (IMHO) seems like more of a kid's cartoon attraction.

| I didn't even go on it my last trip to WDW cause the time before that it seemed so run down and dated. I will hold judgement until we actually see how the integrate! Now can someone petition them to update and maintain Country Bears? That is the attraction that was my family's tradition! |

| Since this article discusses the Small World at Disneyland, I'm going to move it to the DL forum.

| I loved this ride so much when I was a kid - I made my dad ride it over and over and over .... then for Christmas one year, Santa surprised me with the music on a 45! We are about to take our 3 and 4 year old children to WDW and my dad is wishing revenge on me! Little does he know - I would love to ride over and over again! |

| I don't know if we'll ever make it back to DL, but after looking at the video it really doesn't appear to be all that bad. The characters they have infused, do not have that 'cartoony' feel - they are designed to stay in keeping with the look of the dolls in IASW. I'm looking forward to future TRs and YouTube videos, to see how it was accomplished!
