Touring 'plan' for Calif Adventure?

I got spoiled with all the planning info for our WDW trip last year.
Does anyone for touring suggestions for Calif Adventure? We are going for the first time Sunday (at the last minute.) We are taking our recently turned 4 year old so we won't be going on the big roller coasters etc. We will only be there one day. We don't need to cram everything in-- I'm just looking for tips.

Here are the things I'm thinking but I defer to you experts out there....
Go ride Soarin first.

Go to Toy Story mania?

Get in line and go to first show of Aladdin. 12:10pm

other suggestions for touring strategy? I've read about the application people can get for their hand held devices but I don't really use my phone that way.

Thanks!

Because Toy Story Mania doesn' have FP at DCA, I would head over and grab a FP for Soarin' then hightail it around to TSMM and get in line.

Once you are done with that, head back to Soarin' . . . use the FP if it is time or if your time isn't up yet, and the line isn't too bad, hop in! (worst case scenario, you ride twice . . . and that is never a bad thing on that ride, if you ask me! )

Once you are done with Soarin', head towards Aladdin. See the first show then, while in that area, go see Muppets 3D and Playhouse Disney.

After that, I would just head out of that area and go towards A Bug's Land then work your way around the park clockwise from there!

I almost forgot, just a little way down and across from the entrance to Grizzly River Rapids is the Redwood Creek play area. Your 4 year old would probably love that...if you need some down time or just want to kill a few minutes before your Soarin' FP is ready.

ACK! I almost forgot something . . . Monsters Inc: Mike and Sulley to the Rescue!!!

After Aladdin, before you head out of the Hollywood Pictures Backlot area (seeing Muppets and Playhouse Disney) . . . ride Monsters Inc.

Also . . . Turtle Talk is in the Animation building. It is pretty much the same as WDW though, so could be skipped if you don't want to wait for it.

Don't forget to swing through the Mission Tortilla Factory and the Boudin Bread Bakery for your free tasty carbs in the Golden State/Pacific Wharf area!!!

I see you have less than 24 hours!

My DGD, at 3, loves Redwood Creek...always has to be her first stop. If you put this in your plans, you might want to do it as a diversion. Your 4 yo can run and let loose. However, this is one of those play places where you have to keep up with them to keep an eye on them.

What application are you referring to? I have never heard of one before now?

Verizon Wireless is starting to sell an application soon for their cell phones where you can get real-time wait times, find characters, restaurants, stuff like that.

That sounds awesome (the phone app)

I know it may be a little late, but if the Pixar Parade is going on, try and squeeze that in. We all really enjoyed it! We really liked everything listed above too.
