I'll be in Disneyland next week!! Tips?

Hi all,

I will be in the park this time next week. I am so excited I am bouncing in my chair
It's my husband, our almost 3 year old, our 4 month old, and my parents! I know my kids are young but it was a chance we could not pass up! I know we will have to do the princesses and Tink but anything else that is a MUST do for us? We will have only 2.5 days there (hubby and I will have from the kids bedtime to park close- 12 for ourselves) so I'm thinking more for our daughter. One last thing; I know Lightning McQueen and Mater are in the parade but it's going to be a close call for us to make this parade- the only day it's showing on our trip is the day we arrive. Do they have them anywhere else in the park ever? DD is OBSESSED with Cars right now. She tells people she is going to meet them (not Mickey, Lightning).

TIA!

Casey

The last time I was there in February, Lightning McQueen & Mater were parked in DCA across from Taste Pilot's Grill.
I hope for DD's sake , they are still there!

I'll be there again next week also. I'll be doing the parks with my 3 year old granddaughter. They are local, so I can tell you what her favorites are.

In DCA, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, Flik's Fun Fair, Monster's Inc, and King Triton's Carousel (not sure if this is still closed for refurbishment or not).

In DL, Toon Town, Buzz Lightyear, Many Adventures of Pooh, and the Disneyland Railroad.

Laura had it right - good ones to hit at both parks. Make sure you do Fantasyland early (first thing) to get the must-dos done before lines get too bad: Dumbo, Peter Pan and a couple others are outrageous once the park's been open about an hour or so, but you can get a lot done in that first hour (especially if you also go for an early morning).

Lightning and Mater should be across from Taste Pilot/Soarin. It looks like it was made into their permanent home, however, I think they have times, so be sure to check your guide for times. And be prepared for the possibility of honking and revving, which can freak young kids out (like it did DS when he was 2) if they're not expecting it.
