The Pixie Hollow meet and greet?

It depends on what time the park opens . . . sometimes the park will open at 8am and Pixie Hollow will open at park opening while other times the park will open at 8am and Pixie Hollow opens an hour later at 9am.

Your best bet, if that is what you are wanting to do first off is go straight there when you come into the park.

Yes, Pixie Hollow. We are going in July, and my three year old is obsessed with Tinkerbell and the princesses. What about the princess fantasy faire?

Since it really depends on what time the park opens and what is going on in that area, you would really just need to make sure you grab a times guide when you enter the park. They are usually right near the Maps, or just ask a CM.

I would agree with the advice about heading straight there. We went there as soon as the park opened - it opened at the same time, at 10am that day, and we had a 15 minute wait.

I was there in March and the lines were relentless for this attraction. I agree, make this your first stop as soon as you enter the park.

I just got back from being in Disneyland the first week in June and the line was always really long. The CM working there said that it averages from 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hrs every day. I went to Pixie Hollow first thing when we got to the park and the line wasn't too bad. I don't think we waited more than 10 to 20 minutes. The themeing is really cute and if you listen close you can hear the fairies laughing. I met Rosetta and Tinkerbell. Tink is very sweet and the flow through is quite fast so have your cameras ready. They were open every day from 9am-5pm when I was there. I think that is their standard open/close but it may be different later in the summer. Hope this helps

Get there early, we just returned from WDW and the lines were long for this attraction! Also, make sure you ask the CM at the front of the line if Tinkerbell is there. We stopped inside the tent to get out of a rainstorm and decided to get on line since Tinkerbell is our daughter's favorite, only to find out that she was not there that night. We still had a great time meeting Rosetta and Iredessa (spelling?) but it was a bit dissapointing to not see Tinkerbell.

They always have Tinkerbell at the DLR site but sometimes she will take a break and be replaced by a new Tinkerbell which is standard practice for Disney. The line is in the sun mostly and as stated long. On the hill next to the building on your left is fairy costumes, toys and other merchandise. On the path to the right is a lovely view of the pond and flowers and the line. My friend loved that path.

Don't worry about spending time there before hopping in line. As with all Disney attractions, this is where you exit Pixie Hollow and you will be able to peruse then.

This is the path for the line. You'll know you're in the right place when you see the sign for Pixie Hollow:

It's a gorgeous wait, full of fairy flowers. Keep an eye out for the fairy houses and fairies themselves!

This Friday they opened at 9 am and that is the norm of opening at 9 am unless the park opens at 10 am. Princess Faire opens about 9:30 am or 10:30 am if the park opens at 10 am.. They had a lovely show at the pond and it is worth just visiting the western path that has no line.

We were there on 6/26. Hours were 9am-8pm when they have pixie hollow all lit up with special lights. We weren't able to go to that. We got in line at 8:40am or so to meet Tink and waited probably about 25-30 minutes. I think that is the best you get at this greeting. There were about 4 parties ahead of us in line. It was the way to go though because it wasn't hot or too sunny yet. DD met Silvermist and Tinkerbell. The fairy laughter is really delightful to hear as you wait in line.

Meet and greets are slow loaders. There is the posing for pictures, the rounding up the kids for pictures, the chatting with the character and then the farewell. if you can imagine doing all that while giving individual attention to everyone in the group then imagine doing that in under a minute. Without being rude or rushed they can only handle so many guests. The line then grows until it hits 45 minutes and is almost out the entrance which is when guests see the line and walk away. Rarely does it go over 90 minutes long. It is partially to fully sunny and at times there is only the shade from parents.
