Dumbo type rides?

When we were in WDW in April we found a ride that were very very similar to Dumbo (DS very very fav) in another area. I think the Aladdin type one was in Adventureland? It tended to have shorter lines than Dumbo and my 3 year old got more rides in. We of course did Dumbo too but could wait for times when the lines were shorter. Are there any of these in DLR or DCA?

You'll find Flik's Flyers in A Bug's Land in DCA. Passengers "fly" around in cute little "containers" recycled from the trash. So cute!

A Bug's Land is a great place for young kids. There's Flik's Flyers, Heimlick's Chew Chew Train (with food smells), Lady Bug spinning cars (like teacups, but tamer) and Bumper Cars that you have to older/taller for. The entire land is set up like you're the size of a bug and it's made out of household trash - popsicle stick benches, straw lightpoles with lightning bugs as the lamps, etc. They have a water feature that is a garden hose with the "fan" sprinkler attachment on the end.

Also, my son's always been partial to Astro Orbiter, which is almost identical to Dumbo. Only thing, if you haven't ridden it, is that it tilts quite a bit. Never bothered my son, but I made sure I hung onto him (not tightly, but well). The lines are hit and miss, but usually not too long unless Tomorrowland is crazy busy for some reason (and the line is much easier than at WDW - no elevator!).

Not sure if the Golden Zephyr would allow him on but it just goes around in circles and is tame, that is DCA. Astro Orbitors are also a Dumbo type of ride.

Short lines depends on time of day and year It takes planning and using MM, Minnies Breakfast, and getting to the parks early. I would never skip rides just to get on fast as then I would miss so many rides that I love like Peter Pan, Casey Jr. and Nemo.

Go to the CMs at the disabled entrance and they will take you to a room to the right where you can watch the nemo ride without hauling a tyke into the ride. It is designed for chickens and disabled guests.
