Laughing Place has a great blueprint map and article showing what Buena Vista Street will look like.
Disney’s New Buena Vista Street: Looking Forward by Looking Back, - LaughingPlace.com: Disney World, Disneyland and More http://www.laughingplace.com/lp/dyna...2_1024_768.jpg
You enter via gates themed after the Pan Pacific Theater. On your left is a row of shops where guest relations was located and the shop was located.
2600 is Oswald's Filling Station which reminds me of the Gillmore gasoline stations that sold Red Lion brand fuel. Some will say it looks like Oscar's at the WDW studios area. It will be a shop.
2628 is Los Feliz Five and Dime that is named for the area of Los Angeles that Walt Disney lived. Another shop.
Big Top Toys at 2642 Buena Vista Street will sell toys. Outside you will pass under the monorail bridge that is based on the Glendale-Hyperion Viaduct (1928), which carried traffic over the Los Angeles River and past the original Disney Studio.
Elias & Company Department Store at 2750 Buena Vista will be like Seasons Under the Sun shop and will be in the southeast section of the building where the candy and snacks were sold.
across the street and starting from the entrance. I do not see anything in the old stroller and bathroom area, maybe they will put something like bathrooms there.
2701 Buena Vista Street are Julius Katz Shoe and Watch Repair and Julius Katz & Sons Appliances and More shops which are named for Julius the cat in the Alice series in the 1920's.
2719 Buena Vista Street is Atwater Ink & Paint Art Supply shop. Named for the key department in making cartoons and for the Atwater Village area near Los Feliz area.
Trolley Treats at 2741 Buena Vista has a quaint sign promising lots of yummy candy. This will be about where the toy shop used to be.
Now we are at the old plaza and this is named Cathay Circle. On our right where the toy store and train were is 926 Carthay Circle where one finds Clarabelle’s Ice Cream Parlor. In that area is Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café
Carthay Circle Theater, located at 973 Carthay Circle where the fountain and big sun sculpture were located. Other proposed shops are Mortimer’s Market selling produce on Buena Vista Street and Kingswell Camera Shop in the Elysian Arcade. Some of these shop names may be facades where one big store has 3 exterior shops such as Main Street.
