Mardi Gras is not until March 21, 2012 from what I heard but at Disneyland you can partake in the New Orleans Bayou Bash early. There will be street performers and hints of possible special foods being sold. They did Lunar New Year and hopefully this will be a trend to have the day of the kings and other culturally popular celebrations. Let the good beignets roll your way, going down to the bayou, see you all there.

Bummed that we will miss this just by a couple of weeks! I love New Orleans Square in DL -- on our most recent trip as we were walking through there I turned to DH and said "You know, I believe this is my favorite area of the park." How fun it will be!
