We had a chance to visit California Adventure a few weeks ago, We were in California for a sad reason as my Mom had passed away. We spent 2 weeks there. We had a few days at the end of the last week & decided we needed a break from all that we had to do so off to Disney parks we went.. Mom & I had spent a day there together a few years back & I knew she would approve..
We loved the Carsland racers what a fun ride! But at the end I had no idea about the stairs up & down after the ride. I did not have my scooter or a GAC so I had a hard time getting up the stairs. We stopped to look at the ride picture in the dark hallways then continued on out. I did not see the down stairs & found them as I started to fall down them. I was caught on my way down by Mike & I believe he saved my life, as the stairs are cement. I think they need to brighten the way with better lighting & maybe more signage. Am I the only one who had issues there?
Have not had the pleasure of visiting yet. Sorry you slipped! Did you mention it to a CM?
While in line for another ride (some years back), I got a splinter from the wood railing. Actually, it was more like a stake than a splinter. I should have reported it, but just yanked it out, washed my hands and put a bandage on.
