I stayed there last October. There's lots of info in my trip report.

http://www.passporterboards.com/foru...-complete.html

July and August should be hot in Paris. It does the lack the humidity of Florida though, so I find the heat more bearable.

Hi!

I've stayed at Sequoia Lodge and I have to say that it's my favorite resort at DLP! Anything in particular you'd like to know?

In July and August, the parks are going to be majorly crowded due to the fact that the schools are on break those two months. Weather-wise, though, it's the perfect time to go! It is hot but not nearly as hot as it gets in Florida, plus there's no humidity, and it doesn't rain much in the summer. If you can, I'd suggest you go in early September since the weather will still be as nice but the crowds have died down significantly by then.

Have fun planning!

I stayed at the Sequoia Lodge in 2002 for a week (I try to stay now in Paris itself). I do have photos here of the lobby and outside (as I do of all the hotels, except inside the Sante Fe): MouseSteps - Disneyland Paris

The photos were from a few weeks ago. No inside the room shots - I don't remember being that impressed with the room, it was on the small side (but then again, it was Paris) and in need of some refurbishment. But that was 5 years ago and it's probably had some work done to the rooms since then. The pool is INCREDIBLE.

You never know on weather. You can find good info on timeanddate.com, but I have been there a number of times (DLP and/or Paris) and have been through a major heatwave in May (it was around 90, just like being here in Orlando!), and it was pretty warm a few weeks back until a thunderstorm/front helped cool things off.

We've stayed at the Newport Bay, the New York and the Disneyland. We have toured the Sequoia. My only negative comment is we found it a little dark. It had a similar feel to the Wilderness Lodge, but not anything like as grand. You should find the weather good in July and August. The French traditionally take their vacations during August so you may find July a little quieter in the parks.

Have a lovely time
