I've been about a dozen times. We went for opening day as we figured it was going to be our only chance to be at the opening ofa Disney park. On that occasion we stayed at Hotel New York.

Since then we have stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, Newport Bay, Seqoia and Camp Davy Crockett. The Seqoia is probably our favourite but the Camp might have been if you didn't have to have a car if staying there.

I think it is a very pretty park and good for a Disney fix but has nothing on WDW

Im Back

i have just come back off of my 2nd trip to DLP and it was even better the 2nd time.
I stayed in the Santa Fe for 2 nights and loved it.
We watched the parades and they were magicaql but the fantalusion parade we watched it and then went back to our hotel because we thought that theere wasnt any fireworks and literally as soon as we got to our hotel the fireworks started but we couldnt be bothered to walk back so we missed that.
The finding nemo rind was fantastic except i had my eyes closed for the shark bit because i am a bit of a baby.
I had a great time and have just booked a holiday to disney world florida for November 2008

It's been a few years - 6 as a matter of fact! OMG! We went with our 3 DDs (then they were 18, 8, 4. We also took a family we were close to at the time - Mom, Dad, 2 girls (18, 8) and 2 boys (15,12). We stayed for a week - at the hotel that is the gate to DLP. Can't remember the name for the life of me.
I'm going again in May - on MY OWN!!

The hotel you stayed in 6 years ago is simply called "Disneyland Hotel"

I have. We went there for one night during our honeymoon. For some unknown reason, we didn't schedule it into our original plans for the time we were in Paris . Once we were there we decided, how could be be this close and not go??!! So we called and got a room at the Disneyland Hotel and took the train out. It rained the day we did the park and was beautiful the day we headed back to the city, so our timing wasn't ideal, but it was still a great experience and I'm so glad we did it.

My son and I got back yesterday from eight days in Paris and we went to DLP for two of those days. It is wonderful, the prices are a shock in France but the experience of going there far out weighs that. The park is nothing like WDW in Florida but the attractions are different. The look on my seventeen year old son when we entered the parks was priceless it was like he was five again.

I'm glad you enjoyed it - I'm looking forward to taking my Grandsons in September. I agree Paris is wonderful to visit as well - not sure if I'll get to visit it during the next trip to DLP as it's intended to be a Disney treat for the little ones.

When I did a study abroad program (munich) my roomie and I spent the first 4 days of our fall break there! (fall 1995) They had just stopped calling it Eurodisney I think We were only going to do 2 days, but the train we took to get there had a little bomb go off on it about half an hour after we got off, and so we decided to stay in our happy place a little longer, and then just escape to Geneva. We stayed in the Disneyland Hotel. It was SO wonderful!!! I wish they made sugared popcorn in the US!!!
