Who's been to Disneyland Resort Paris?

So who's been to Disneyland Paris on the boards?

I was last there in 2003 and I'm hoping to go again for a long weekend sometime in the not too distant future...

I've been to DLP four times so far and will go back there in September with a good friend of mine.

I've stayed at two different DLP hotels: Hotel Santa Fe and Sequoia Lodge. I loved both of them! I have looked around all of the other Disney hotels as well, and I have to say that they are all wonderfully designed with much attention to detail.

We were there in February 2005 with Alexander, when he was 7 months old. It was a great visit, even if it did snow every morning (and I'm not talking about the kind that falls on Main St. in Anaheim or Orlando).

I went back in September 2004 with 2 of my good friends. We stayed at Sequoia Lodge. It's a great park and was glad that we had a chance to visit.

Lets see....

First trip was in 1994 when we stayed at the Hotel Cheyenne.

In 1996, Matt and I spent a few days in Paris, including a day at DLP (or EuroDisney as it was then)

In 1997, Steve and I did the same thing

Last October, Matt and I stayed at the Sequoia Lodge.

We have been several times. First time 10 years ago when the park was 5 years old. Stayed at the Newport Bay, which is similar in style to the Yacht Club, but moderate in price. Since then we have been a few more times, (it is much easier to get to when you live in the south of England ). Most recently we stayed at the New York Hotel for my 40th birthday last year which was great - it's very deco which is a style I love. I also took a quick trip with my sister and 4 year old niece for her first ever Disney trip in January this year. We stayed in the pink Disneyland hotel right by the park which we all loved.

Hi there! My name's Marlene, and I'm part of the new team located in Orlando that helps to book guests for DLRP. I haven't been to Disneyland Resort Paris yet, but I know I will! I want to go during the Halloween Festival, very much. I can't wait!

Hi Marlene Welcome to the boards!

It's great to have people in this community that are interested in DLRP, too. If you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to ask them here

I haven't been to the Halloween Festival myself but have only heard great things about it, by the way.

Hi and welcome to the boards Marlene! What a cool job you've got! We went a few years ago as they were setting up for the Halloween festival and the decorations were awesome. It's a shame that they don't do something similar at the American parks for Halloween.

Thumbs up I love DLP

I've been four times.

First time was with one of my daughters - we stayed at Newport Bay.
Next was with all three of my children staying at the Hotel Cheyenne. That was quite a trip - they had a couple of huge rows (they seemed to be going though a difficult stage) but that was also my most fun Disney trip with lots of laughs.
In 2004 I remarried and went on Honeymoon to Paris so a side trip to Disneyland was a must. We stayed at the Pink Palace and were totally spoiled.
Last year I went with my son - the only one who hadn't flown the nest staying at the Sequoia Lodge.
I am now waiting for my baby Grandson to grow up a bit - in the meantime my friend and I are thinking of having a girls trip there this Halloween.

My DH is slowly coming round to the idea of a trip to WDW with me as well - fingers crossed.

DLRP Visits

Hi- we have been 10 times, 1st trip 1997, 5th anniversary- 2 nights at Seqoia Lodge. Since then have been back to Seqoia once, Newport Bay Club once, Hotel New York 3 times & Disneyland Hotel 4 times. Loved every minute of it.
Last visit Oct 2006, next planned visit Spring 2008 - having to miss out this year as we are going on DCL Med trip instead.

Hi all,
My DH Simon and I took our then 18mth old son there in 1998. We stayed in Hotel Cheyenne. My son loved the people watching in the park but the best fun was had at the hotel corral - he loved the sand and characters each evening! We had a blast riding the Indiana Jones and the temple of peril? Wish we could return to see the studios park(it wasn't there back in '98)! I'm dreaming of mickey already...

Welcome to the board, Tigger71!

Wow, you had to spend quite some time on a plane to get to DLP all the way from Australia, huh? Glad to hear it was worth it

Hi - been there twice, once in 2000 and the other in 2001. I love the castle there, not as much as WDW, but a close second. Plus there is nothing that matches an attraction soundtrack in french! What was so differnet from the USA parks was that nobody lined up for the parades until 5 minutes before they began . Very different than here! It was definetly alot of fun and I would love to return again!
