Help! Disney Paris Planning

Hi,
I need information about Disney Paris.
Has anyone stayed?
How many days do i need to see the park?
Any tips on Hotels at Disney?
Best time to go? (we are thinking March 2008.
Is there a Passporter for Disney Paris?

Thank you in advance.

We've stayed before at the Newport Bay Club and really enjoyed our stay there - it's very similar in theming to our beloved Beach Club and the Sequoia Lodge, very similar to the Wilderness Lodge, also looked like a great place to stay as well.

We had four days to see the parks and we felt that was a little too much - I would say you can a lot in two days, but if you can allow three days, you should pretty much see everything.

As for March, it depends when in March, as Easter is in March next year - and it will be very busy around Easter.

I hope that helps.

Hi 4Disney2

I just got back from DLP a few days ago. We stayed at the Santa Fe, an on-site Disney value resort. We liked it just fine although I have to admit that it doesn't look too welcoming on the outside. The rooms were very nice, though. My favorite Disney resort at DLP is Sequoia Lodge. It's a moderate (it's similar to the WL but not as luxurious). What kind of hotel are you thinking about?

Well, since Easter is in March next year, it will be very (read: VERY) crowded (!!!) at DLP. If you are going in early March you should be fine. Try not to visit DLP on a weekend, though, since that's always a lot busier than Mon-Fri. What else... Oh yeah, the weather It does rain a lot over here in Europe in the spring (well, it rains a lot pretty much year-round ) and the temperatures aren't nearly as nice as they are in California or Florida so if you do go in March make sure you pack enough warm clothes and rain gear

Sorry, there's no PassPorter for DLP yet. If you have any other questions, feel free to post, though! I'll be more than happy to talk about DLP and I'm sure there are a lot of other PP members out there who've been to DLP and can't wait to tell you all about it

Hope this helped!

Oh yeah, I forgot: We spent 4 days in the parks. I've been to DLP five times so far so we didn't need to "do it all and see it all" but we just love to spend time in the parks. So for us, 4 days were just right. If you've been to WDW or DL Anaheim a few times you probably won't wanna see every single attraction at DLP (there are lots of identical ones). If you don't have much time, I'd still plan in at least two days at DLP.

We have stayed at Newport Bay (lovely new england styling - 10 minute brisk walk to the parks), the New York, (great art deco feel inside - 6 minute brisk walk to parks) and the Disneyland Hotel ( fabulous pink confection, similar in style to Grand Floridian and right next to the park gates, overlooking Disneyland Park.

All are lovely, but if you budget will stretch to it, the Disneyland Hotel is best!

I agree with everyone - avoid Easter and March should be OK. Also remember that Paris has high rainfall so make sure you pack some waterproofs just in case!

I would allow 2.5 - 3 days to comfortably see everything. If you are booking dining, I really recommend the lovely atmosphere at the Blue Parrot, which overlooks part of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

Have a great trip!

We've stayed at the Newport Bay, Sequoia Lodge, Hotel New York and Davy Crockett Ranch, my favourite so far has been the New York. We like to spend 3-4 days at the resort. I think you need a couple of days for Disneyland Park, one day for the Studios and then maybe a lazy day or a day in Paris.

If you can manage it, try to go to the Parks on weekdays. It is soooo busy on weekends you could queue for one attraction for a good couple of hours.
