| Hello, My husband and I will be having a Orlando Wedding soon and are planning to travel to Disneyland Paris for our Honeymoon in November or December. Can anyone give us tips on what airline to use, what resort to stay at, how to get to DLP from the airport, how many nights to stay, where to eat, what kind of weather will it be like during those months, etc? We are from Miami, FL (USA) and have never been to Europe. So if anyone has traveled from the US to Europe we would like to hear your advise? Thanks and sorry for all the questions! ![]() |

| Disneyland Paris is great, you'll love it!! I went in March of 07 and it was cold and raining the entire time, but I had a great time anyway. I flew Delta from Richmond through Atlanta into Charles de Gaulle and everything went very smoothly. Paris is so easy to get around, I was truly amazed. The train station is right in front of Disneyland - too easy!! I stayed at Disney's Hotel Santa Fe, which I DO NOT recommend. Next time I go, I'm staying at a moderate or above. One thing to keep in mind is that the restaurants in Paris close between breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's hard to find something to eat during those hours. Good luck and have fun!! |

| I would definitely recommend seeing more just Disneyland Paris if time allows. It's so easy to spend a few days at Paris and also London, which is just a couple of hours away by train. I would aim to spend at least three days at DLP and my vote would be for resorts such as the Sequoia Lodge or the Newport Bay Club. If you can afford it - and it is pricey - the Disneyland Hotel is the ultimate place to stay there. We were there the weekend before Christmas last year and it was really nice to see all the decorations. If you can though, avoid the weekends, as they are a lot busier than the weekdays.

| Congrats on the honeymoon in Europe! Disneyland Paris is definitely worth a trip From Charles-de-Gaulle, Paris' largest airport, there's a shuttle bus that can take you directly to DLP. The shuttle buses are called Navettes. November and December aren't exactely ideal as far as weather goes. It's cold and rainy. Of course in December you have all the holiday decorations, which is why we went to DLP right before Christmas this year. I have to admit, though, that I MUCH prefer going to DLP in the summer because it's just so much nicer to be outside. How long to stay? That largely depends on how many days you'll be in Europe total. In general, I'd recommend spending three nights at DLP. That'll give you two full days to explore the parks. Hope this helps

| Hi I have been to DLP a dozen times & love it whatever time of year or whatever the weather! Can't help with the travel info as we drive from the UK. I have stopped in the Disneyland Hotel & it was fab but expensive, we usually stop in a cheaper one such as the Cheyenne as we only use it for bed & breakfast as we are in the parks all day. Try & stop at least 3 days (more would be better!). definate must dos are:- A meal in the Blue Lagoon restaurant - beautiful setting in the Pirates of the Carribean ride. An evening in the cocktail bar in the Disneyland Hotel listening to the pianist playing music from Disney films (you don't have to be a guest to go to the bar) An evening at Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show - a great evening's entertainment. I was traveling with my teenage daughter and we were very disappointed with they way the children were allowed to run around screaming through the lobby. IMO, the hotel was just a mad house. The restaurant was disgustingly dirty and over crowded. (unless, you're on a tight budget??)I'm planning a trip to Europe for my son's college graduation and I will definitely go back to DLP. ![]() | |

| Yeah well, the Hotel Santa Fe isn't exactely a good choice for your honeymoon because its romantic factor is pretty much zero. However, I've stayed there several times now (I'm in my mid-20's, no kids) and if you're on a tight budget, I didn't find it such a bad choice. It cannot be compared to the value resorts at WDW but it's still fine if you just want a place to sleep and shower. We never found the restaurant dirty (we had our complimentary breakfast there daily). It was crowded, but so were all the other restaurants on DLP property during busy season. Also, we didn't have any more trouble with kids at the Santa Fe than anywhere else at DLP. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience there, BeachBabyBongo.

| We got the train from Paris - DLP was at Marnee-le valley (sorry this is not spelt correctly) the end of the train line and a few minutes walk from where we stayed at Hotel Cheyenne. This hotel was absolutely fantastic for our then only toddler DS and it was very family friendly - not a honeymoon type place. I'm guessing it is a value resort as we were doing a world tour and the budget was tight by the time we got to Europe - LOL! Back in 1998 we didn't know anything about dining plans and such but we did get a discount coupon for Buffulo Bill's and the Planet Hollywood in the villiage walk. Sorry I can't help with flights as we came from London on the Eurostar. Congrats on your upcoming wedding and all the best for a funtastic honeymoon.

| Weekdays are much slower than weekends and any time that avoids the French or the English school holidays (as those are their two biggest markets) would be good. I've seen value season pricing for weekdays in September for example.

| Yep, weekdays (Mon thru Thurs) are much better than weekends! Slow season is January thru early March, parts of May (avoid major holidays), September, and November.
