| One Day/Two Parks....Top Picks.... One Day/Two Parks....Top Picks.... Just as it sounds, Andrew will have ONE full day at DLP. He will be checking into the Disneyland Hotel on Sunday March 22 (his 14th birthday)...he might be able to squeeze in a ride or two depending on what time they arrive. He will have one full day, Monday, March 23 to take it all in. (Of course, he wants more days but trust me, getting my father to agree to this was a compromise!) Love to hear your top picks of rides, shows, attractions that are "can't miss"...hoping he can get a decent amount of them in! Also, any recommendations of where to have his birthday dinner would be great. He is a serious foodie and very adventurous eater. Danielle __________________

| I would go for the rides / attractions that are unique to Disneyland Paris and the ones that are very different over there. Into that category, I'd put: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril Space Mountain (I seem to recall Sabine telling me it was very different to Florida, but I'm sure she can confirm or deny that herself! Pirates of the Caribbean Phantom Manor Big Thunder Mountain (that is very different! ) Sleeping Beauty's Castle (upstairs and the dragon downstairs are well worth seeing) Pinnochio's Fantastic Journey Alice's Curious Labyrinth And at the Studios: Crush's Coaster (go straight there at opening - this is still a hugely hot ticket with long waits) Tower of Terror (I thought the theming was very different to Florida - again, it'll be interesting to hear Sabine's views on this one) Cinemagique Stitch Live! Animagique (we love it anyway, may not be the greatest choice for a teenager! As far as an adventurous dinner goes, I'm trying to think of a really adventurous one. The Blue Lagoon at the entrance to Pirates is always a good choice, as it's got good food and a lovely location. We haven't had a chance to try out many restaurants on our recent day trips and short stays there.

| I agree with Cheryl that I'd focus on rides that cannot be found in the US parks or at least not exactely like it. So my picks for the Disneyland Park are - Space Mountain (completely different) - Big Thunder Mountain (a little different), - Alice's Curious Labyrinth (fun even for teenage boys, I think - Adventure Isle (lots of caves and suspension bridges; I love it there - Indiana Jones and the temple of peril - Phantom Manor At the Walt Disney Studios Park, don't miss - Crush's Coaster (AWESOME!!! - Tower of Terror (I think it's not that much different than the ones in the US but it's my favorite ride so it belongs into this list - Animagique (cute) - Cars Race Ralley (if he's into the tea cups kinda rides...) ![]() - Stitch Live ( - Rock'n'Roller Coaster (just a little different than the one in Florida) I'd recommend Café Mickey for the birthday dinner. It is such a fun place and has great food! If you want adventurous, maybe the Rainforest Cafe? I haven't eaten there myself yet, though. Other than that, I agree with Cheryl that the Blue Lagoon Restaurant would be good for a teenage boy.

As for his birthday dinner....when we were originally going to be at WDW for his birthday, he requested to eat at the Cali Grill (one of his favs)....so i was thinking of making his birthday dinner at the Cali Grill at DLH. I have perused the menu and it definitely looks like something Andrew would enjoy....I am trying to find any reviews on it. Thanks for all your help....now if I could only find a crowd predictor for March 22, 23...I would be very happy! danielle

| The California Grill restaurant at DLP is very different from the one in WDW when it comes to the food but it's equally upscale. You can find reviews on the following websites: Disneyland Resort Parijs - The Ultimate Food Guide (click on "Reviews" once you've come to the restaurant's page) DLRP Review - Disneyland Resort Paris reviews, tips and ratings, by YOU! (EuroDisney) (Disneyland Paris)
