The discount you were quoted (that ends Feb. 15) is currently offered in Germany as well (I've looked into it ). I assume it's a special offer that they're currently not offering to British travelers, then.

Very interesting!! Poor British Disney fans. It's a good discount! Thanks for sharing this info!
Don't feel too sorry for us, as the flash sale was for 50% off packages. I think it ran until the end of April from memory....
Wow, that's amazing!!! My friend was able to get some other sort of deal through her TA in the UK, so she booked today for basically the same price that I had been quoted through the US site (we had to slide our arrival date over one day, but since we're staying the same amount of time it didn't bother any of us). So we're booked at DLP, I got my flights this afternoon and it's all systems GO!

I have no idea what wild-mouse type of ride means? Is there anything you could compare it to at another park? As far as it being in the dark, is it REALLY REALLY dark (like how WDW Space Mt is now that they made it darker and you can't see anything) or just moderately dark (like Rock n RollerCoaster where you can still see the track a bit)? I have found that if I can at least see a bit of the track in front of me I do much better than when I can't see anything at all.
****ChezP - you said you found ToT to be pretty intense. Is that just in general, or when compared to the ToT at DL & WDW? If you feel that it's more intense than WDW, can you explain in what way? Does it go up and down for a longer period or something? I usually don't mind ToT, but if I continued for much longer than a few seconds I might not like it so much. Thanks again for all your help![/QUOTE]
Crushes Coaster is kindof like Primeval Whirl - in the dark! It's really a very cool ride - don't miss it! I thought the TOT was just like the one at WDW & DL - I don't like any of them!! Space Mtn at DLP compares to Rock-N-Roller Coaster at WDW and the Indian Jones coaster is a outside metal coaster with a loop (or 2). It's fun - but not one that turns your knuckles white! As a matter of fact on our second ride - I held up my camera and video'd the entire ride! fun, fun!!

Thanks for the info!! Question about Space Mtn - is it as smooth as RnRC? Also, can you see the track somewhat the way you can in RnRC (especially in the first row), or is it really really dark like Space Mtn in WDW? Thanks for the help!!!
Wow! I know nothing about DLP, in fact I have learned a whole lot in this thread. I did want to come in and say though, that I want lots of pics! Reading all this makes me really excited to see them Ashli!
