My husband is 6'6" - and I'm looking at the DLP website at the hotels and they only have double beds! Ack! He can barely fit in a double bed himself, let alone me fit in there with him, and then have to have room somewhere for the 2 kiddos. We might have to stay off property - and not by choice. Why just double beds, Disney? What? No tall people in Europe? Really? Psssshhhh. Frustrating. Can anyone suggest an off-property hotel with a shuttle?
Thanks!!!

They have king bed's at Pop Century and POFQ I am sure other Resort's too I would just call and ask a Disney CM which resorts have bigger bed's. You might have to go with an adjoining room to get a king and then keep the door open between the rooms for the kiddos...

That's probably true, but the poster here is asking about Disneyland Paris.
Do you know what? I'm trying to remember what beds they have at the Disney resorts. I say that because we detest double beds - DH doesn't exactly sleep in one place shall we say - and we have a king bed at home, so going down from that is usually a big issue for us. Genuinely, I don't remember having an issue on our stay at the Disneyland Hotel ( I know mega bucks - we stayed on our DVC points! ) and I'm sure if it had just been a double bed, I would've remembered.
Disney's Hotel New York, Disney's Hotel Newport Bay Club, Disney's Sequioa Lodge and Disneyland Hotel all have either a king or two queen beds (although they might be slightly smaller than what you're used to due to different measurements over here).
I *think* the problem is that the French call any bed that fits two people a "double" bed.
Hi,
I too am tall (6'2") and we've stayed in Hotel New York with no problem and also Cheyenne where I don't remember there being any problem with bed length.
The difference between the king and queen bed isnt that much actually. We had both before. Bed's here in europe aren't that big but what really annoyed me was the bathtub. Man it was so small!! Even for europe standards. Everywhere in France they have these small bath tubs. I do know that Radisson Blu, Dream Castle and Magic Circus hotels have shuttle busses. But i'm not sure about the beds.
