| Looking for TR\'s and advice from people who\'ve been to DLP My wife an I are looking to do a trip in September to Disneyland Paris...any advice or directions? We are long time disney fans and thought this would be a great adults only trip for our 10th anniversary... |

| Re: Looking for TR\'s and advice from people who\'ve been to DLP Disneyland Paris would be a great getaway - perhaps combined with a trip to Paris or London or even both? We went in September 2003 and had a great time - you can read our trip report here If there's anything else you'd like to know, then post away and I'll do my best to help! | Re: Looking for TR\'s and advice from people who\'ve been to DLP I just finished the post...really great. It looks like DLP is offering a good deal on buy 3 nights, get one free...if you book before March this year for travel in September. We were looking at where to stay...I liked the disneyland hotel and newport bay...what was your feeling on the hotel? Disneyland hotel looks pretty cool right there at the gate... my wife and I are pretty much into the rides and being at the park...so the closer we could be Any thoughts? thanks again! BritDisFan's "Ooh-La-La" report Sounds like a great way to spend your anniversary! I hope to be able to visit DLP someday as well! |

[/ QUOTE ] We enjoyed staying at the Newport Bay - it's about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the parks, but it's a pleasant walk and I loved the way that it was in front of the lake - we had a lake view and that was lovely. My feeling on the Disneyland Hotel was that it was very much like the Grand Floridian - quite formal in style. We went inside and that theme carried on inside. I think if you're comfortable with that, it would be a great place to stay. We aren't fans of the Grand Floridian, because we feel it is too formal. |
