| That's the easy way to delete text from a post, but if you want to delete the post, you need to go into edit and then hit the delete button at the bottom right corner of the edit window.

| ahhh.... you need to go to the top of the thread and click the pull-down arrow in the Thread Tools area, then click Delete Thread.
