Reminder: Please state your reason for testing Hi All, Just a quick suggestion. Can you please include within your post what it is you are testing? I know this sounds really basic but sometimes this step gets overlooked. As the Guide it's very difficult to try and figure out who may need help if I can't tell what your trying to do. Also, if you're testing a signature and get it working I can never tell what was wrong. ![]() Thanks a bunch! David

Re: Reminder: Please state your reason for testing I am trying to get a pic for my sign. But I am unsure how to have it under my log on name. Like you have the red, white, and blue Mickey. How did you do that?

Re: Reminder: Please state your reason for testing Hi folks. Ok, it looks like I found the right Board here finally. I need you help. I figured out the avatar. But how do I add a photo to my posts? I guess I would add it to the signature so that it is in every post. But can you give me instructions here. If I have a photo on my computer that I would like to use do I have to upload it somewhere? And where do I upload it? Does it need to be a certain size? How do it get it into my signature once I have uploaded it? What is UBB code, does that have something to do with it? As you have probably figured out, I am clueless. ![]() Thanks for your help.

Re: Reminder: Please state your reason for testing Well, when I first posted I could not figure out how to get the photo in my signature. But I kept searching around and found some instructions. Had to create a website and upload a few photos and finally figured out UBB and as you can see -- I added the photo of my DH admiring the antique car outside Grand Floridian. Now maybe I can experiment around and find a bit easier way of doing this so I can add another photo. Next question is: How did you get the captions under the photo? I guess I am really slow catching on to all this. Maybe by the time I go to MouseFest I will have become good at it and have made some friends to meet there.

pictures in posts!! I am really confused!! How in the world do you put a picture so that it will show up everytime in your posts. I am really getting frustrated. Thanks for your help!! This is the picture. I clicked on the word "Image" in red, but I don't want to have to remember that address everytime! Also, it's too big, how can I make it smaller? ![]()

Re: Reminder: Please state your reason for testing I've read all I think I can find on getting a timer. But I want to import the cute ones from TickerFactory.com like lots of other people have done and I can't get it to "stick" no matter where I try to copy/paste the URL. I've used computers for years but have never tried any of this "fancy" stuff with avatars(where do you find them), photos(resize them?) and timers/icons/colors. HELP! I think a seminar that is a step by step, hand holding session would be so great.
