I was practically raised at DLR when I was a child. Now I visit DLR/DCA every two years. But this will be the first trip where I'll be going with a huge group. I either go to DLR with my parents and brother, or with my DH. But this time, I'm going with my parents, my brother, DH, and my DSF's daughter and her family. We're going from 12/20-12/22. We'll be driving to our hotel (off property), on 11/20 during the early morning (probably around 10am), and visit DCA for the first day. I already have an DRD for ESPN ZONE at 5pm. We'll visit DLR on 11/21, and I have DRD for the Blue Bayou for 11:45am. My family knows to trust me with the planning. They are fully aware that going on a weekend, let alone, the week before Thanksgiving will be crowded. I'll be fetching FP's since I'm the pro. I just need a bit of assistance with planning/hitting the parks. I'm a bit upset that DCA no longer has the MSEP.

He has mentioned wanting to sneak back there and it would be a huge surprise. Now I have some money saved for his big day but not enough so I will need to keep the budget low and I have almost no time to plan. We have a free Southwest ticket so I can keep our airfare down. I need to find a "Good Neighbor" hotel and plan a few toddler friendly yet yummy meals and do all this without him finding out. I am also trying to get his brothers to meet us for a meal at least or maybe a couple days in the park. Any suggestions on hotels, food and/or special birthday adventures?
