Camp Day 36: Kim reflexes on how far they have come from day 1. Alicia said voting Tarzan out was bitter sweet.

Day 37: Kim and Sabrina get tree mail and Kim says that Chelsea should be the next one voted out. This make Sabrina nervous.

Immunity Challenge: They must race across a balance beam maze, if they fall off they have to start over. Then climb on to a net and un tie bags of puzzle pieces, put together a puzzle that will give them clues to a combination lock, un to the lock to pull a pole out that will release a flag for the win.

Alicia, Kim and Chelsea all ran a close race but Kim wins in the end.

Camp: Kim is unsure of what to do, She says taking Christina to the end is a no brainier. She tells each alliance what the other is ding to give herself a good chance and will make up her mind at TC.

1st TC: Jeff asks what it was like at camp, They all answer quite. Kim talks about things to think about when deciding who to vote out. They vote and Alicia is sent to the jury.

Night 37: Kim apologizes to Christina for lying to her. Chelsea and Kim talk strategy.

Day 38: The tree mail tells them to follow the map and collect the names of the fallen tribe mates and to burn them at the end as a sacrifice.

Immunity Challenge 2: With a long pole they must move a wooden bowl through a steel canal and place it on top, the canal is on a spring making it hard to place and keep them. The first one to place all 10 bowls wins. This became a race between Kim and Christina but in the end Kim wins.

Camp: Christina goes to Kim and says she wants to know up front what’s up and Kim tells her she is going. Christina decides not to fight.
TC 2: again Jeff asks about the afternoon and everyone says it was quite and the person going knows who it is. Jeff asks who it is but no one wants to answer. Christina speaks up and says it’s her, talk turns t how she should have fought for it but she was sure she could not break the alliance. Kim says things aren’t always as clear as they seem, Sabrina and Chelsea look at her with concern. They vote and Christina joins the jury.

Day 39: They go get the final feast and relax till it is time to go.

Final TC: Chelsea starts and talks about how she changed her strategy at the merge.

Kim talks strategy too.

Sabrina talks strategy and her personal life.

Jonas talks with Sabrina about how she sucked at the challenges and Chelsea about what her big move was, Answer: Voting Kat out. And why Kim didn’t take Christina.

Christina: Asks Kim if she had taken her who would she have voted out; Answer: Chelsea.

Jay: asks Sabrina about strategy

Mike: Asks Kim what she thinks a blind side is and if she perfected it.

Tarzan thanks them for taking him as far as they did.

Leif: Asks about how his vote went down

Alicia makes a statement

Troyzan asks Kim when she decided he need to go.

Kat makes a statement were we learn she has had open heart surgery and needs more to have kids.

They vote Jeff grabs the urn and heads out.

Live in New York Jeff reads the votes

Sabrina 4 Kim 5 and Kim win the million.

Congrates to Kim and Grammy Grumpy for the win. Kim also wins the Sprint $10,000 making it a sweep.

1. the previews make this look like a farce. It's not. There are humorous spots in it, but it's not a comedy.

2. It's Tim Burton - it's dark.

3. I don't remember the original soap. I can almost imagine it with this movie. There are some definite campy 70's soap opera moments in it.

4. NOT for some children. There is language, there is sex (although insinuated, it's still there), murder, vampires, drug use, revenge, and mostly - there are some parts that could be scary for children. There were a few kids in the audience who screamed, one who cried, and one who asked to be taken out.

5. DH and I had a great time. It wasn't what we expected, and for that I'm glad. I was actually going more because I love the grouping of Depp, Burton, and Bonham-Carter. Camp night 33: They talk about Kat saying how a blind side would be fun and laugh about it. Tarzan plans to get himself into the final 3. He talks with Kim saying take him to 4 and he will talk the Jury into voting for her. He tells Alicia the same thing.

Day 35: As Christina and Chelsea go for tree mail Chelsea tells Christina if she wins reward she will take her. She is trying to reel Christina in. She tells Christina that it’s not a good Idea that Tarzan and Alicia make the final 3. When they get back to camp, Christina tells Kim all that Chelsea said. Kim tells Chelsea.

Reward Challenge: They run to a station with a disk and spin it to remove it then they move on to the next platform and spin another disk when they get through this they will use the disks as a decoder to solve puzzle. Once they solve the combination they raise their flag and win.

The Reward is a trip to a yacht to take a shower, get some fresh clothes they get a three course meal at sunset and sleep on the yacht.

Chelsea wins and get to choose 2 to take with her. She says she wants to make it fair the same way she is playing the game and picks Sabrina first then picks Kim to go too.

On the yacht Chelsea takes her shower first and then Sabrina, Kim and Chelsea talk and make it look like they are having a “Romance”. A bunch of I love you from them both.

At camp: The 3 talk about how “fair” Chelsea’s pick was and how she promised to take Christina. Tarzan makes a “plea” again to the 2 about taking Chelsea out.

Yacht: Kim says how if she were at camp she would be trying to drown herself.

Day 36: They get back to Alicia and Tarzan arguing. Kim and Alicia talk and find out (according to Kim) that Tarzan is playing them both. Kim is messing with Alicia’s head to get Tarzan voted off.

Immunity Challenge: They have to use a giant fish hook to pick up 3 bags of puzzle pieces, one at a time they get them and open and start the fish skeleton puzzle. After it is together they run to the finish line to win. The catch is they have to do this with one hand tied behind their back.
Alicia wins by seconds over Kim.

Camp: There was a lot of back and forth about who to get rid of But Kim seems to have convinced Alicia Tarzan should go. Alicia isn’t sure about what to do.

TC: Starts off with Jeff asking Sabrina if she is surprised to still be there and she says no. Then he asks Tarzan why he is still there and he answers that it’s because he helped vote the other men off. Michael isn’t happy to hear this. He says he knows his time could be up and mentions wearing Kats tank top and having her underwear on his head, Kat starts crying. Chelsea tells the others that Tarzan is playing people and Tarzan answer with no I am not. They vote.

Tarzan is the 7th member of the Jury.

SUNDAY is the 2 hour finally and 1 hour reunion show. 5 women remain who will take home a million dollars?

The teams head to Hiroshima, Japan. Once there they have to make their way to Miyajima Island. All teams end up on the same flight. They get tickets for a bus to a train station. Brandon & Rachel miss the bus and have to take a bit later bus. At the train station Dave and Rachel miss it but Brandon and Rachel make that train. Then the 3 teams get on the ferry and Dave and Rachel miss it as well. They now have to wait till morning for the next one.

On the Island they find the spot of the clue but it will not be there till sun rise. This gives Dave and Rachel a chance to catch up. From here they make their way to Hiroshima Peace Memorial and take time to reflex on what had happen there. Now they have to take the bullet train to Osaka and find a TV station.



Bring that chicken home: one team member running on a treadmill, grabbing 3 rubber chickens, and trying to avoid falling into a giant pit of balloons. Then they have to jump on the finish line.

Art, Vanessa, Brandon, Rachel

Vanessa’s ankle made it rally hard for her but she didn’t give up and manage to finish even though it put them behind. Ralph told her to take the penalty in fear she would break the ankle.

Now they head to The Umeda Sky Building and go to the Floating Garden Observatory. Here they find 2 screens one says Bingo Shout out and the others says Photo cut out.



Bingo shout out: teams have to correctly identify sushi that the caller shouts out and place it on a bingo board, once they get bingo they have to eat the 5 pieces in order to move on.

Art & JJ, Brandon & Rachel, Vanessa & Ralph

Photo cut out: teams have to convince 10 groups of 3 people to take a picture with a cardboard cutout of a sumo wrestler.

Now they make their way to Osaka Castle last team to arrive will be eliminated.

Now the last leg from Osaka they head to Honolulu, Hawaii. They are all on the same flight. Once there they must find the twin towers. After the find them they have to ascend and rappel to the top and then go back down FACE FORWARD once they locate their clue. It’s about 400 feet high.

The clue is a banner in a park.



one team member has to use a samurai sword and shave enough ice to fill a bucket to a line. Once they finish, Hawaiian actor Taylor Wily (Kamekona on Hawaii Five-0) will hand them their next clue.

Now they have to make their way on foot to an outfield and get into a helicopter.
Brandon & Rachel take a cab to a ball park to find out they did the wrong thing.

Now they have to rescue a swimmer in the ocean using a wave runner with the other on a body board.

Drivers: Rachel, Art, Rachel
Rider: Dave, JJ, Brandon

Now they make their way to Coral Kingdom gate and have to follow the marked path to find the clue.



one team member has to ride down a hill on a wooden sled, then roll a rock into a target.

Art, Rachel, Rachel

Rachel and Dave are out front. They find a sign saying to paddle across a lake and they find Phil, Phil then tells them they didn’t finish the road block and they have to go back

They get there and Art is still trying to sled down the hill. Rachel doesn’t take long to finish it and move on to the rock rolling. She gets it and they are off again to the lake.




Dave and Rachel make it back to the finish line to win the million.
Meanwhile Art is still sledding and Brandon and Rachel show up.
Rachel finishes and moves on and Art finally finishes and moves on too. Art gets the rock quickly and they check in 2nd. Rachel pouts that they are 3rd but musters a brave face at the end.

Congrates to Dave & Rachel and Colexis Mom & Starbright for an amazing win.

Night 30 camp: When the arrived back at Kat tells everyone that Troy told her to “Do It.” Christina says she was played by Troy. Alicia says in confessional she is running the game and is the most powerful player.

Day 31 Camp: Tree Mail arrives. It’s Sprint EVO 3D with video of the loved ones.

Reward Challenge: Jeff brings the loved ones out then explains the challenge.

The Survivors and their loved ones will be attached to a rope and have to maneuver thought tangled rope to get to a finish line. First one there wins reward.

Reward: A helicopter ride to a beach for meat kabobs and margaritas.

Amazingly Kat wins reward and then gets to chose 2 others to go with her. She chooses Kim and Alicia because she just wants to ‘hang’ with them. Sabrina and Chelsea are upset and think she should have picked Tarzan and Christina (her Dad had a kidney transplant). Kim thinks the same way and calls Kat heartless. (She should have step back and let one of them go) In confession at the reward they all talk about the final 3 and it being them.

Camp: Sabrina and Chelsea talk about voting Kat out with Christina and Tarzan.

Day 33 Camp: Chelsea talks to Kim about voting Kat out but Kim wants Sabrina out first. In confession Kim says she will try hard to win all Immunity Challenges.
Immunity Challenge: They have to stand on a ledge over water holding a handle behind their back, Jeff will let rope out that will tilt them forward. They hold till they fall. Last one holding wins.

Falling order
10 min: Sabrina, Tarzan

20 min: Alicia, Chelsea, Christina

1 hour: Kat

Kim wins.

Chelsea still wants Kat out and is ready to talk more about it.

Camp: Kat is upset the ‘someone older’ (by 4 years) beat her, It’s embarrassing she said.

Alicia now wants Kat voted out and helps talk to Kim about it. Kim is sure what to do.

TC: Jeff starts off by talk to Kat about her lost last week and win this week. She said it was hard to choose who to take. Sabrina and Chelsea chime in about Christina and Tarzan, Tarzan says he was fine with not going. Kat is upset with the bashing. Then he talks to Sabrina about being the first one out. The talk turns to blind side witch Kat says are fun. They vote.

Kim made her decision and Kat is gone, She walks out crying.

Ok Debi you can stop predicting it.

Next week Tarzan sets out a strategy because he wants to win.

The teams head off to a temple for the clue. There the find out the have a Fast Forward.



Rachel and Brandon deiced to go to another temple and do the Fast Forward. Upon arriving they find out they have to shave their heads to win the Fast Forward, Rachel immediately start to “cry” and say she paid $500 for her extensions. Brandon tells her it her decision weather or not she want to do it and she is too vane, unlike season 7's Uchenna and Joyce, they head to the next destination.

All the other teams head to a local shop or factory to get the next clue.



One team member must use the husks of coconut to spin and spool rope.

Ralph, Dave, Art, Brandon

From here they head to Fort Kochi.



Pachyderm: They must decorate an elephant and then transport 15 wheel barrels of elephant scat.

Pack A Box, teams must pack ten boxes of ginger and deliver them to a shipping manager.

Art and JJ

On the way Vanessa fell and twisted her ankle. She got right up and kept going.

Mark & Bopper finally get on their way.


They must paint a tiger on the stomach of a dancer. Once they were done they found out about the Fast Forward and gave it a shot. Bopper had no trouble shaving his head.

From the Detour they have to make their way to a ferry and cross a river and find the




located at Cheena Vala Fishing Nets.

Rachel & Brandon and Vanessa & Ralph hit mat almost at the same time. Rachel and Vanessa finally have it out on the mat and apologize.

When Art & JJ hit the mat Phil messes with them making them think are last. They cry to find out they are in 4th, they literally gave blood sweet and tears this round. The blood came from JJ’s finger.

Next week we have a 2 hour finally, 1 team arrives at the final mat to be told they didn’t finish the road block, this should be interesting.

Man what a show. Christina was the only one who got the wake up call but she was just too late. I think Troy did a great job of planting the seeds in them. I can honestly say I've never had a set of books consume so much of my life before. Maybe it's because I was reading them back to back, and if it had been that way with Harry Potter books, I probably would felt the same way, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I really missed imersing myself in a good book.

I know this topic has been touched on before, but can any of you recommend a book or books that you just couldn't put down? I'm not into murder mysteries or trashy romance novels. I never thought I would have liked the theming of The Hunger Games, but I was completely proven wrong. We're leaving for Disney soon, and I would love to take a book along, but I would also love to have a few books to read during my lunch break at work. It would be a nice excuse to get outside and away from my desk for an hour.

I'm surprised no one has started a Dancing With the Stars thread yet.
I won't rehash the season so far, but I will say we're really liking the "dance offs" this season. It won't stop fans from keeping the worst dancer, but it should keep a really good one from being ousted.

Though my DD wondered -- in the prior seasons, the last two "in jeopardy" weren't necessarily the bottom two. Sometimes they picked the pairings for dramatic effect. The team must head to Cochin, India. They stop to use computers and get tickets, when Art & JJ get there they give Rachel & Dave the cold shoulder. Everyone but Vanessa & Ralph get on the same flight. Once in India the must take a bus to Sacred Heart Collage in Thevara.



One team member must learn a Bollywood dance and audition for the director. If done right they will get the clue.

Now they must take an auto rickshaw to the Indian Coffee house and get the clue from the head waiter.



Cricket: both team members have to hit a ball past a professional player to the boundary.

Clutch It: teams have to learn how to drive a Rickshaw and drive people around a training course.

Rachel & Dave, Vanessa & Ralph



Now they must make their way to Bolgatty Palace for the pit stop.

At the Road block Bopper keep trying to get Mark to stop but he wouldn’t then after 11 tries he decided he couldn’t go on but his coach would not let him quite, Mark gave it one more try and got the clue. They make to the pit stop to be told they are the last to arrive. Phil is quiet and Bopper and Mark say a few words then Phil tells them that it is a non elimination leg. They have a seep bump but still have a chance.

Next week Rachel cry’s over hair extensions and Vanessa falls and goes pop.

Back at camp after TC Troyzan and Christina talk. He wants to know why she changed her mind at TC. Alicia tells him to stop talk to her, He tells her that he will speak to whom ever he wants.

The next day Troyzan talks with Chelsea and says there are 3 or 4 others who should go before him. He is told not to take it personally. Tree mail arrives and it is money envelopes.

Reward Challenge: Survivor Auction they all have $500 to spend.

first item is three donuts and iced coffee, Chelsea gets it for $160.
Next item chips, Guacamole and a Margarita, Sabrina gets it for $400.

The next item is a protein drink with bananas on the side. Leif was it for $100.
Next item survivor shower with shampoo, toothbrush and a face cloth. Kim bought it for $40.
Next item BLT, chips and iced tea. Sold to Kat For $180. She comments that there is bacon on it, after being told it was a BLT.
Next item Peanut butter and chocolate. Kim wins it for $240.

Next item letters from home. Alicia bids $500 and gets her letter.

Jeff offers the other tribe members of their $500 they can buy their letter to. Tarzan decides to buy his letter, Jeff asked Tarzan if he wants to share his letter and he says no.

Next item an advantage in the next immunity challenge. Troyzan wins it for $420. Troyzan tells Jeff that he feels like the whole team is against them is him against the team.

Next up is a covered surprise and note. Kat wins it for $160. Jeff tells her to read the note and she finds out she bought it for the Tribe and they have 60 seconds to eat it. The Auction is over.

At camp: Troyzan reads his note and he get to move on to part 2 of the challenge. He then starts look for an HII that may or may not be there. The girls starts looking too just incase and he makes them think he found one.
Immunity Challenge: Round 1: The first 3 to untie a knotted rope up to a ring moves on with Troyzan who gets to sit this one out.

Round 2: They must bounce coconuts off a trampoline and break 3 targets first 2 move on.

Round 3: Shoot coconuts with a sling shot to break 3 tiles in a row to win Immunity.
It was close but Troyzan wins!
At Camp: The girls scramble to figure out who to vote out. It will be either Leif or Tarzan.
Troyzan talks to Leif, Tarzan, Christina and Alicia about pulling together to vote Kim out and make a big move to put themselves higher up in the tribe.
TC: Jeff says to Troyzan that both at Tribal Council and Reward challenge there was a lot of animosity towards the other tribe members. Sabrina attacksTroyzan and tells him that the game is not just about outwit it is about making people like you. She tells Troyan he has to be nicer. He tells her she is not his mother annual talk the way he wants.
Chelsea tells Jeff that paranoia has set in. Chelsea tells Jeff about Troyzan’s plan to have Christine, Alicia, Tarzan, Leif wrote on his side.

It's certainly packed with twists and turns, and you never know where it's going to go next.... just as soon as you think you can predict it, you're proved wrong. :)

I'm loving the acting from both Claire Danes and Damien Lewis and I'm not surprised at all to find out that the show won two Golden Globes.
