| Knee pixies!! My knee has continued to hurt me - even after I saw my orthopod and her gave me exercises to strengthen the little muscle on the inside of my knee that stabilizes my kneecap. He said since this was weak, the kneecap was being pulled out of alignment, which is why I was having pain... Well - I have done the exercises - so much so that I can lift 20 lbs of weight (ankle weight) w/that muscle isolated -- and when I started I could not lift any weight. BUT - the knee continues to really hurt. Acute pain at that (sharp). I had called the doctor's office on Wednesday and they promised to call me back after talking to the doctor to see if he wanted to have me do an MRI before I come in to see him on July 10. Well - I ended up calling again yesterday since I had not heard from them. At 445 yesterday afternoon, they called and yes, they want an MRI before I come in on July 10 for my follow up - since obviously my knee is not better. The nurse called me and says my appointment will be "some time on Monday" - not sure where, not sure what time. Good thing I have a very flexible schedule... So - can I get some [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/fairy2.gif[/img] for A)an MRI on Monday and B) a solution to why my knee keeps hurting. I really want it healed so I can get back to running!!     |

[img]/ubb/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Good news is the surgery was arthroscopic, recovery was about 1 week and no more sharp pains! I hope you get it resolved soon.
