| Pixies please The past few days have not been good ones. (Who am I kidding-it's been a horrible few months  ). Alot going on right now.I am afraid Rizzo (our puppy) may be close to the end of his wonderful life. If you remember, he was diagnosed with cancer 2 and 1/2 years ago and has been wonderful even though he was given 80 days to live and we decided against chemo, etc. (Chemo would only give him 4 months-not worth it for 1 month we felt). Anyway, his appetite has gone way down, no energy and he is "breathing hard" at times. We are trying to prepare the kids, but it is so hard. We don't want to take him to the emergency clinic as they are horrible-been there twice-and they would only say to bring him to our vet on Monday am after picking him up(even if he died there-we would have to pick him up and who would hold him, rub his ears, kiss his nose, etc). They are only open nights and weekends. He hates it there. I just can't understand why the largest town in CT with at least 5 vets can't have one each weekend take call?? This is just so upsetting!! Unfortunately I will be the one to be with him at the end. I am just so upset-I will NEVER have another dog-it hurts too much!!! Then Tom's hip is really giving him a hard time. We have an appt. on Tuesday about a hip replacement. We have known for 8 years about the arthritis, but it seems to all of a sudden gotten worse. Unsure about our trip for July. Then-work is horrible. I won't even go into that right now. Any pixies for Rizzo, Tom and they boys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

| Dianne, I am sorry about Rizzo, maybe he'll rally again. And hopefully Toms hip can be treated non surgically. Pixies for work too! ( hey you can always vent to me- I owe you an ear after all my whining last summer). You're in my thoughts, friend!
