| Flight and Conference Pixies? Hey ya'll- I've seen the posts on here about people asking for pixies, and I'd really appreciate some good thoughts thrown my way tomorrow! I'm involved with Best Buddies, which is a volunteer group that helps people with developmental disabilities form friendships and (with adults) get employment. Every year, there's a Leadership Conference at Indiana University in Bloomington. We learn how to lead our chapters (I'm in high school, the president of my chapter) and teach others the mission of BB and also ways to help people with disabilities be integrated into "regular" school. I went last year, and this year I'm going with my faculty advisor and one of my best friends who just happens to have autism. You'd think I wouldn't be nervous about it since I've been there before.. ...I'm freaking out. I get horribly homesick and, on top of that, I have a really bad fear of flying. I'm just totally dreading the whole thing, honestly. I know it will be OK once I get there, but it's the getting there and settling in that's making me really, really nervous. Anyway, this is getting way longer than I meant it to. If you could just send me some pixies for the flight and getting settled at IU, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!!
