| Update on Jamies parade & teaser Small update on the parade.. & a teaser photo of my mini trip report to come , The Parade was awesome I was so nervous FOR Jamie before the parade started.. As soon as I saw him in uniform, I lost it, I stood there bawling like a baby!! I hadn't seen him dressed before & all I could think of was how cool he must be feeling marching at KENNYWOOD & how proud I was of him & the waterworks started.. I turned to Jim & said "If I'm a basket case at Kennywood, what will I be like at Disney??" Jamie lost his mouthpiece before the parade so in the photo he's tuba-synching... (the only one with his hand to his mouth) AND he also lost a valve during the parade.. (Freshman jitters I hope) But even so, the band itself looked great & sounded even better..  He is the "A" in T-I-T-A-N-S.. (our school nickname/mascot) .. Here's a small teaser photo of Brendan, Shelby & I on Raging Rapids . Raging Rapids is Kennywood's version of Kali River rapids only meaner!! At one point a huge tidal wave of water literally encompasses your boat.. I looked up & there was water all around me, then** poof** it was on my head ( & body) We rode this beast when we entered the park at 5pm & my shorts were still dripping when we came home ,.. Jim was smart & opted to not ride.. he took this photo right after the monsoon hit our boat.. I'm shreaking in horror & Brendan is lovin every minute of it (Shelby stayed fairly dry, oddly enough, but she looks like she's bald in the photo)  of course, a bad thunderstorm blew through the area while we were at the park so I got even wetter.. All rides were shut down for about an hour due to some severe lightning.. .. I took a ton of pics of the band & also my hometown amusement park. THanks for the pixies for Jamie! He loved every minute of it.
