as morning breaks....(the differenance a couple hours make)

last night was the night from h#*^ .... ds 4 woke up at 11:00 throwing up. I run into his room to see him standing there with it all over him and the rug. dh and I clean it and him up. I put him in our bed only for him to do it again. dh changes the sheets I change ds. I take him out to the living room to sit with him and a bucket, for the next four hours it happens 6 more times. finally at 3:00 am we go back to bed he falls right to sleep. he wakes up at 8:30 feeling fine and is mad I won't let him go to school. (he just started kindergarten and loves it). so tell me how he's sitting here watching a "cars" dvd and telling me he's hungry...LOL! like last night didn't happen.. I guess it was some stomach bug..

Don't you love those wonderful evenings...my DD used to get sick always in teh middle of the night...she would not even wake up which is what scared me...

There was always those midnight mopping jobs and changing sheets and then moring would break and she would act liek the last night did not happen...

I should not curse my luck we haven't had one of those episodes in a long time....

We had it happen to us at WDW. DS was 3 at the time and ate two of the turn down service chocolates, which had mint. He must have gotten heartburn in the middle of the night. He was sleeping with me and lost it on the bed. Housekeeping was great! I called and asked if they could send new sheets and someone with a strong stomach. They offered to make the bed for us (all of this at 2:30 in the morning), we told them that we could take care of it. But it was nice to know that they would remake the bed for us.

That's the kicker with the stomach flu and little kids-it passes thru and within hours they're back to their normal selves.

Glad he's feeling better. I always hate it when mine are sick.

Oh my! I do remember those days!
It is amazing how quickly little ones recover from such lovely episodes!
It takes the adults a lot longer to bounce back!
I am glad he is feeling better!
