| Does anyone else have. . . . a husband who loves toys? I mean BIG toys? Well, I had to stay home all day today because they were delivering his new 50" plasma TV with surround sound and all the bells and whistles today. They were here 2 hours and 15 minutes for the install. Now, I am killing time until the cable guy gets here to hook up the HiDef. And it better all be operational by tonight! Why you may ask? Because our beloved Packers are on Monday Night Football, of course! (Secretly, I think it's kinda cool but don't tell Paul!) The only real problem is he won't get rid of anything old to make room for the new. So it all goes in the basement! Good thing I have nothing to do with the basement! Aw, heck! I'll have a great time watching his eyes light up when he sees it all set up and running tonight when he gets home. And then we will watch the game and at every commercial I will hear "isn't this the coolest?". Yes, he is my biggest child! But ya gotta love him . . . he actually let me pick out the TV cause he said that he values my opinion. He knows which side HIS bread is buttered on! Bigred

| My DH is the same way. When we got our entertainment center completely setup with the big screen, HD, and surround sound, you would have thought he won the lottery or something. (I think it's cool too!) Of course, I can;t say anything becuase I was just as bad when I got my DSLR camera with additional lens and all the fun accessories. ![]()

| I know what you mean. I refer to DH as one of my kids, as well. Congratulations on the new television

| Yep! My DH has a big TV as his fav new toy too. Only problem is our DS2 scratched it with a pair of kitchen tongs. It's not that noticeable but DH thinks it's a good reason to upgrade. (The TV is 10 months old) I believe they are never satisfied. Now what if I spent that much on scrapbooking supplies? Oops - I'll shut up now!

| I'm the lady whose DH has a huge tractor - and a half-acre plot of land. It takes a 24 foot trailer to move that tractor! Oh, and we have the huge HD TV, surround sound, multiple game systems, and a pool table/ping pong table/air hockey machine in the basement. I almost never venture down there |
