| December Calendar Already Filled! DD Cory (8) has a part in the Youth Cast for Nashville Ballet's "The Nutcracker" this season. She's only an angel  which doesn't require a lot of techinical skill  but does require a lot of rehearsal time. She just got her updated schedule yesterday, (she's been rehearsing for a month already) with dates of rehearsals, dates of rehearsals with the company and dates of performances (she will be in six!!) and my calendar is now filled until Christmas Eve!!! Not only do I get to drive her to rehearsals and shows, but I also have to chaperone at least one performance night! Wah!! Send us some endurance pixies!!!  Do any of you have holiday events that take up a good amount of your time?

| I remember those performance demands. DD Samantha was in a lot of plays and I worked in costuming and makeup in community theater years ago. After getting married and having more kids, it got too hard to do. But, I can remember how hard it was to juggle it all (we both had to be available for months of rehearsals and performances) it was very demanding. Good luck to you and way to go for your DD!

| I volunteer at our school book fair, which is the Monday/Tuesday before Thanksgiving, but that's about it (other than planning DD's school holiday party - I'm one of the room mothers)! You've got me beat hands down

| My kids performed in our local professional company's Christmas Carol Musical for several years. It's a ton of work at an already busy time of year, but they loved it, and now miss it. The year Jack was Tiny Tim was really hectic. He did all of their publicity, which meant being at local TV and radio stations before dawn and then rehersals nights and weekends. Congrats to your daughter!  It's a great experience!

| Congrats to Corey, what an honor! I know how you feel! Between DD #1's Dance Competitions, hopefully musical rehearsals for Oliver! (tryouts are later this month  ) and her 16th birthday, DD #2's Cheerleading Competitions and 3 choir concerts betweeen the 2 of them my December is pretty filled up too! I love being involved, but sometimes it all piles up doesn't it?

| That sounds like a lot of work, but so much fun for her! I bet she'll be incredibly cute.  I can't think of any one thing that takes up a lot of my time - just a lot of little stuff! One of my sisters and her family is coming to stay with us for about two weeks, so after we get back from Disney, we'll be cleaning and trying to get everything ready for them and Christmas. Wooo!
