Christmas Crankies...
I am in a hotel room outside of Portland. Mom and Dad just took DNiece back to sister's house. We were supposed to go over for dinner - but I am just too tired.... and since I am not real thrilled with my Dsis right now (too long to go into here) - I opted out of dinner and visiting.

I have a MOUND of DNiece's presents to wrap... and ZERO motivation. Tomorrow DNiece and I are making cookies and decorating a gingerbread house - so I really should wrap gifts tonight. All I want to do is sleep. Dniece stayed here with me last night - and Dnephew was with my parents. Tomorrow they switch (it was supposed to be tonight - but with me being wiped out - no joy). BTW NEVER attempt Toys R US on the Saturday before Christmas..... nuff said.

Ok - I think I am off to bed. I know it is only 715pm here - but my mind (and body still - even 4 days after arrival) think it is 1015pm.

I can understand your exhaustion. I have TONS still left to do tomorrow, along with having 21 people over for dinner. EVERY year I say to myself "Get this stuff done earlier" but I never do.
