Poor poor Crackers
Our sweet little baby blue budgie Crackers just fell off the perch and died this morning . He (she) didn't seem ill in any way so we think it may have been a heart attack. We feel so shocked, he was so upbeat and chirpy yesterday and full of beans.
We're so glad he didn't seem to suffer at all as it was completely out of the blue.

I'm dreading coming in from work tommorrow as I always great Crackers with 'hello angel' and he chirps to answer me.

Our kitchen seems a quiet dreary place already , I don't want to go downstairs.

I am so sorry Karen I used to have 4 parakeets and loved hearing them chirp and sing. It was very quiet when they all finally passed away

I'm so sorry Karen. He was still you pet and a companion even if he was a budgie. It's natural the you'd miss him. I don't have any birds but my sister has 3 and they each have their own personalities.
