| I'm 23 and still have a lot of my childhood stuffed animals I also carry around a pug beanie baby when I travel in place of my actual pug... it's a comfort of sorts, I guess... so I don't think being 12 and having a little something is anything to worry about (my eldest cousin still has his blankie... it's just a small piece of cloth these days, but he still keeps it close lol)

| I actually think it's not only fine to have a favorite stuffed animal to comfort you. My DD still sleeps with her stuffed dog when she is home from school. It's actually a good way to soothe oneself-better than reaching for a cigarette or drink. As you DD gets older, she will become more discrete about her BG. But it sounds like it's small enough to be easily packed in a purse or backpack. Diane |

| Thanks for the advice everyone. BG won't retire anytime soon. DD is still going through some hard times as an almost teenager and if BG can make those times a little less tough for her, then it is well worth letting her stick around. |
