| Well, it's official.... My brothers wife had their 4th kiddo sometime in the 12 hours. I'm not sure exactly when. All I know is she wasn't suppose to be due until the end of the month (I didn't even know the exact day) and that he called at 7 something this morning and again a little while later (we live with mom so she got the phone). They had a little girl and named her Emily Jane. Now my brother has 2 girls and 2 boys. Mom's at the hospital right now visiting and I'm sure I'll get more info later. If I see her, I'll let you know how cute she is. I have no plans of going over to see the baby and knowing Judy (my brothers wife) she won't set foot in this house until Christmas time. No exaggeration, she only liked my dad and has only come over here maybe 8, 10 times tops since he died in 2004 - and those times only because she wanted something (usually mom to babysit or the Christmas money mom gives them.) BTW - If I sound bitter, I'm not. I just don't really care one way or the other. I am happy for Mike (my bro) because he's happy but there is absolutley no love lost between me and Judy (or the kids for that matter.) I barely see them and when I do, they only pay attention to my mother and ignore me, Lenny and Abby.

| Congrats on the new arrival. I'm sure she's a doll.  Sorry to hear about the tension in the family...I don't know what I would do If I couldn't see my nieces!! I would be lost without them! Maybe one day things will ease and relationships will mend themselves..      |

| Your situation sounds like my family. I have a niece who just turned one - haven't met her and not allowed to have any pictures of her and another niece and nephew I haven't seen since a family wedding in 05. I understand your pain/indifference and I'm sorry for it. Congrats to your brother!

| We have the same situation with dh brother and his wife, only she doesn't like any of us. We have seen their 2 year old dn about 10 times and we all live 10 minutes apart. We invited her to go swimming with uson Fri., and she said she would rather go to garage sales. It was 100 degrees outside! Who takes a 2 year old out in that heat unless it is to go cool off?? I am sick of trying.
