| This is a message to everyone for these hot dog-days of summer. I've got a bad migraine from not keeping myself hydrated and having trouble sleeping in this heat too-so it can cause problems for all age groups. Everyone PLEASE take care of yourselves during this heat wave! |

| I had to yell at dh today, he was outside working on the deck in the sun,,and I saw him stand up and hold on to the side of the deck... he said he felt dizzy, I made him jump into the pool and than he felt better.. |

| Yes the heat is bad. We have had either Code Orange or Code Red for ozone layers here in our area - bad for elderly and those with chronic lung problems.

|  for the pixies and well wishes everyone! Just a little update: DFIL was kept in the hospital for 2 nights. They wouldn't release him until his temperature was back to normal and they completed some additional tests, as he was having pain in his side. We purchased an additional air conditioner for him. (I gave him a larger unit a few years back -we had central air - but we have no idea where that disappeared to) DH & DS put it in yesterday and were just about to leave when DSIL arrived back home with DFIL. It's cranking out all sorts of cold air for them now!  DH, DSIL and I have all reminded him that it is not a good idea for his 70 year old body to 'hang out with the boys' in DBIL's garage when it is 150 degrees out, even if there is a really big fan!   Here's hoping no one has to experience this any time soon!!
