Not really but I'm hormonal and feeling almost homicidal towards my H (he doesn't deserve a D right now) AND it's a good thing he's at work or there might be body parts flying!!!!!!!!!!! GGRRRRRRRR. I've been working major amounts of overtime to pay for a very expensive trip, keep up with household bills (which I pay the majority of anyway since I have the bigger paycheck), and come up with the extra money to pay for child #2 to go to college in September. True DD Alicia got an incredible scholarship, but there are still a lot of expenses! On top of the $$$ NO ONE has lifted a finger or offered a suggestion for this trip (other than an occasional grunt from the least expected - Grumpy - and then only on the rarest of occasion). We leave three weeks from tomorrow (technically three weeks from Thursday, but since it is at 3am I am saying Wed night) and H broke into my Disney box of supplies! aargh!! All because HE ran out of something and was too (explative) lazy to drag his sorry behind to the store and buy himself some more (oh yea, and I didnt go to the store for him and buy it cuz I WAS WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!)
SERIOUSLY I AM FEELING JUST A TAD P/O'd right now.! AND to top it all off, the ONE day I had off, I got all the laundry washed and dried (8 loads worth) and asked that someone fold it for me... guess where it is...yup waiting for me to fold it! This is why I am taking two other Disney trips without the rest of my dear sweet family. One with my Mom and one with my Sister. I just need to keep reminding myself of that! I have to go to the store today anyway, so I will just replace what he took out (and be sure to STAY OUT of the rat poison aisle!), and while I'm there buy myself a book or something to read on the plane!

There now I'm starting to feel better all ready... sort of...

Take a deep breath and get those thoughts of murder out of your mind. Good luck with getting the family to help out. That is my biggest pet peeve. I go to work at a daycare with 15-20, preschoolers in 95 degree heat for 8 hours, and I leave a very short list at home for DH and my 2 teenage kids. Do you think anything gets done? Oh! sorry I am taking over your vent. If we happen to run into each other at the world, I promise not to give your H the evil eye.

Feel free to vent!!! And feel free to give him the evil eye... I'm sure I'll have forgiven him by then, and he won't even realize what it's for, but a good evil eye stare never hurt any man!

Karen - I know you're very upset and you have reason to be.... but MAN! You're funny when you're angry! I've felt like that with my DH, too. Sometimes he makes me feel like I'm hired help rather than a respected wife (esp. with his pile of clean laundry that sits on the floor and never gets put away... unless I do it. I can't imagine the squalor we'd be living in if I left him in charge of the house). I totally understand!!! Nice deep breaths and remember... rat poison will lead a forensic trail right to you! Ooooh. You're funny. I needed that.
