| My kids know how easily I cry! In my signature picture, the middle girl is my Dear Niece. She is the step daughter of my sister who passed away from lung cancer. My sisters husband was a widower because his first wife had passed away from breast cancer. Anyway, my niece is just the sweetest kid, and was very much a part of our family from the time she was in second grade. She's now going into 11th grade. I try very hard to keep her and her sisters and her dad in our family - they all came to the Fathers Day dinner. They came to my house for Thanksgiving and for Christmas. It makes me sad to think that my niece is growing up, and doesn't spend as much time with us as she used to (she went to DW with us in 2004, and the Disney cruise with us in 2006). Anyway, she called and asked me to be her Confirmation sponsor. I was so touched! She is a link to my sister for me, and I treasure the memories of how much fun the kids had together when they were young. And, so, when she asked me, I did tear up. I told my daughters, and each one said the same thing to me "Did you cry when she asked you?" Are you sentimental? Do little things make you cry?

| How sweet that she asked you! I must say you are precious for continuing to include them in family events. So many times people just fall away from our lives. I think it is wonderful that you continue to count them as family. Your sister would be so proud of you! Danielle

| That is so touching, that she asked you to be apart of such a special occasion in her life. It hard these days to stay in touch with family and friends when a key link between those parties is gone, it is great how you continue to include them in family gatherings. I cry all the time, in fact I just cried yesterday when I found a video of my DS2 from our 2006 WDW vacation, he was 18 months at the time, it is so amazing how fast they grow up before your eyes.

| Since she asked you, it's obvious you mean a lot to her. It's wonderful that she has you - to lose two mothers to cancer must be horrid, no matter how old. Me, I am not as sensitive. One of us has to be tough. And it's not DH.

| How very sweet. I think that's really special.I used to never cry - now I cry more often, but usually at silly or inappropriate stuff.

| I'm crying just reading your post, I am a very emotional person, especially when it comes to my family and how sweet to keep your DBIL and the girls close to you.
