| Thanks everyone. I'm trying to stay positive. I rode the buses today. Fortunately the DTD Bus is fast.

| I know having those late hours are not much fun. It is possible once the clubs at PI close you might get earlier shifts. Enjoy having the daytime off, it gives you a chance to see the parks and just kick back while everyone else is off working.

| I hope they can arrange to have you room with othes on a similar shift -- I know what it is like to work odd hours... Bloom where you are planted!

| Sorry about not getting the position you were hoping for. You never know, sometimes those situations we aren't thrilled about turn out to be the greatest experiences. And at least not working in a park will keep the parks more like fun than work. Keep us posted! |

| Thanks everyone! I've been training the last few nights. Although the hours aren't ideal, and I barely see my roommates now, I like the people I'm working with and I have slowly gotten the hang of things. Of course, once I finally get comfortable, it'll be time to move to a new job!!! Working at PI makes me even more sad they're closing it. I'm really going to miss it. I float around, so if you see me, please stop and say hi!!!

| ![]() It does take a few weeks to get into the swing of things! One of my Dgang had a roommate who was in the same situation - working at a location that was their last choice. It ended up being a perfect match - go figure. I hope that works out for you too. And about your roommates - depending on their locations, they may just have a crazy schedule like yours. Normally training at parks/resorts takes place during the regular hours and then you get slotted into open times. DD's first cp was front desk at a resort and she was assigned any and all shifts. Same with DS#1 who was in merchandising at the resorts. And now DD's at the parks and her schedule even as a manager can and sometimes does change from morning - mid - to late nights depending on vacations and things. It sounds like you are going with the flow! Have fun!
