| Just a little happy story about 9yo... This trip has been totally different. My usual wanna-ride-it-all/wanna-eat-it-all 9yo DD has been very hesitant about everything (she's now afraid she's going to get meningitis thanks to that dumb vaccine commercial  ) Anyway, she's been asking to do a character meal and her fave is Eeyore, so I was able to get CP for lunch yesterday. Everyone but Eeyore made the rounds and Tigger was hilariously funny. She hasn't laughed like that in a long time. We waited and waited and no Eeyore, so finally the server came around and told us he was looking for his tail and would be there soon. She gave us a FastPass voucher b/c of the wait, which was nice. Well, along comes Eeyore and DD lit up. She hopped up and gave him the biggest, longest hug. It was like she'd been holding her breath for a long time and finally could exhale. I started bawling. She got his autograph (for the umpteenth time  ) and took a picture. That moment is why we come.She's been doing very well here, though. Not a single panic attack. She's had a few minor meltdowns over food, but those have been easily remedied. 12yo has been a trooper and has gone over and above in the patience department.

| Well - at least she was thrilled to see Eeyore. My Kathryn (15) absolutely loves him, and she does light up when we're at CP and Eeyore walks in. Pixies that she continues on her way to a healthy kid. Sounds like she's getting there, step by little step. And kudos to your older DD for being such a trooper.
