| That's good news, stefffe!!! I hope the repairs are minimal. We survived with no water and so did my sister and in-laws. But my niece and her family's house is totally destroyed. They had to be rescued from the roof of their home Saturday evening. I'm not sure about my sister-in-law and my other niece. But from the pictures, we think they got water in their houses, just not sure how much.

| Continued for your family Steffe, and for yours too Travismom.Any word on when you guys can go back to start cleaning out your homes? Even with 2 inches of water you have to get that wet stuff out ASAP before the mold starts. Not to mention getting rid of fridges and freezers. I wish you all a lot of strength to get through the rough days ahead - hope it helps knowing you have friends here to lean on.

| Yes, Ya gotta watch out for that mold! And 2 inches may still be enough to ruin the sheetrock! There may also be a lot of wiring and stuff that needs replacing and it is easier when there is no sheetrock. ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Austin TX here, I'm sorry about your troubles. It has been heartbreaking to see our neighbors loose so much. I have to say I have been REALLY impressed with how they handled the evacuation this time. It made me really proud to live here. There were a few major glitches (not enough blankets ect. ) but there was a great reduction in the loss of life this time. I'm sure it will seem like an eternity before you are settled again but at least this time it seems that all the forces at hand are truly doing EVERYTHING they can to get peoples lives back. I hope you have a safe comfortable place to stay until then. All the best to you, your family, and your entire community.
