| A little bit of good news.... well our neighbors got back in this morning....and we have been told that we may have gotten just 2 inches of water in our home.....which means all of my electronics are fine....clothes...anything that wasnt on the floor will and should be okay. Just ripping out carpet....and our bed will mostlikely have to be tossed....since we had not yet put it on the bedframe..so it was on the floor..... and Barrys moms house is fine.....a little of siding repair but all in all we did well... Now...my mom.....sigh....probably had a few feet in there......but their house was built in the 70's...so no sheetrock...all solid paneling...so we are hopeful that we can just strip it and bleach it....and repaint. of course everything else will have to go.....the water we are dealing with is SALT water.....sigh....so it will corrode anything it touches...so her house mayt be a total loss...and they will have to start over. So....all in all we should all be fine....once the water recedes and the power comes back on(which may be a month) we can get our lives back to normal. Thanks you gusy for all the pixies....and great thoughts sent our way.....we are fortunate.....others not so much
