| He finally got in the car with the kid! DH has not really let Kathryn drive anywhere if I'm not with them. He says he can't handle being in the front seat. She's on a learner's permit, so a parent HAS to sit up front. He let her drive his truck about 4 blocks one day, and back home. that's been it for him. Well, they're out costume shopping, and he had her borrow my car keys so she could drive (why his aren't okay for her to have, I have no clue) Anyway, they're going to the next town over, about 9 miles. And, it's rush hour! I'm so proud of him!

| Oh, I don't know how you are doing it. I can handle parking lots with DS15. But he is getting his learners permit on Saturday and we will hit the road!

| my dad was the complete opposite and I did not want him in the car with me... because I was afraid he'd be freaky... nope he kept falling asleep (which freaked me out more) dads... gotta love 'em!

| I'm right there with you folks. Lizzie will be getting her liscense in Dec. and she's got her learners, so we're trying to let her drive as much as possible. Her turns have gotten tighter, so we're not crossing the center quite as often, but I'll be glad when she gets a feel for the breaks. I'm tired of being thrown into the dash board. <sigh>

| My Dh has only take out DS twice. He has a tendency to react with "What the %&$* did you do THAT for???" I am a nervous nelly, but I don't yell so I'm the designated front seat rider.  Poor DS hasn't had many hours out driving yet.

| Tons of  for both of them and a big  for you and DH. We paid for DS to go to Driving School,  way were Grumpy or myself going to teach him to drive.
