| My Talented son just tried .....Part 2 Ok for those of you that have read the first post that my son tried out for Jesus Christ Superstar hoping for the lead (Judas) and getting Simon, here's interesting news......He also just tried out for his high school's production of the musical Little Women. Well, as you can imagine, most of the parts ARE women, but there are a couple of male leads. HE GOT IT!!!! Now he's doing TWO shows at once!!!!! Plus, tomorrow he has tryouts for Diaboli Musicae a small select group of kids that study and perform jazz, swing, a capella, broadway & pop. Last year he just missed it, but we have a great feeling about this year! In October he auditions for District II music festival. Something he ALSO didn't make last year. I am so excited for him but also worried that he's going to have a LOT on his plate. Luckily, JCS is in November and Little Women won't be playing until Jan. Such a lot for a 15 yr old, and swim team season hasn't even started yet!!!!! |

| Wow, how awesome for your son! I don't know how he does it, my DD is involved in theater and choir at her school and the way our rehearsal schedudes are there is no way she could do two productions at once and keep up her grades. for Diaboli Musicae and for Festival too!

| Little Women was such fun. I was a stage hand my freshman year or our production. I take it he's playing Laurey?
