| Counting my blessings It seems like lately theres been so much sad stuff happening around me--esp in my personal life. Then yesterday I had a case that was so, so sad that I actually had to leave my desk and go cry once I was off the phone. So I am just reminding my self and anyone else who lets the little stuff get in the way of their joy- to count your blessings and love the people you love- off my soapbox-- I am just having a very sad am.

| I believe that as long as you have a roof over your head, food on the table and clothes on your back it's a good day. It doesn't matter if the food is beans instead of steak, or the clothes are from Wal Mart instead of a more expensive department store.

| Thanks for the reminder of putting things in perspective! My DD actually got me in the habit of doing that. When the time is 11:11, she always says to make a wish. So if I see that it is 11:11, instead of making a wish I take a moment to think of all the things I have to be thankful for. My wish is that I might always be as happy as I am now. I consider myself blessed to have my family, my health, a house to live in, a job, the chance to go to school.....

| It's been a stressful time for a lot of us and I think sometime we do tend to look on the downside, so your words strike home with me too! your day brightens.
