| Holy cr@p That's about all I can say. When it rains it pours in my family. Some of you may remember that my parents had to put their golden retreiver down last Friday: totally sudden and unexpected. Well today I had a DAunt and DCousin (dad's side) fly in from GA. to support me & my family in an Autism Walk that we're doing on Sunday to honor our son. That part is great. Then my Dmom gets a call from her sis who is in the end stages of cancer. It started out as breast cancer 7 years ago and in the past few months has spread to her brain. My DAunt is literally gasping for air asking my mom to fly to her to visit. They're a good 9 hour drive away. And my parents own their own retail businness so they can't just leave. I book a flight for tomorrow for mom to fly to Syracuse but I honestly don't think my aunt will make it that long. I'm afraid it will completely devestate my mom. She last saw her sister over Labor Day weekend so she has those memories. So my mom's leaving tomorrow, my aunt & cousin are here, the dog's dead, my DH has to work a 12 hour tour on Saturday (damn cops  ) and I have to organize my 'team' for this Walk on Sunday. I am REALLY going to be ready for this trip next month which thankfully mom & dad & my sis will be going on. With all the craziness today it was nice to come home and find DME tags in the mailbox. Sorry to ramble but with my Dsis living in Chicago it's up to me to make sure my parents are okay, run their business oh and take care of my two kids; one of which is autistic. PHEW. I need a drink.

|  My goodness....what a crazy time. I certainly hope everything works out for you and your family. If I were you I would crave a drink as well
