| Friends of ours went through this last July with their 6 year old DD... luckily your DS is older and won't (hopefully) give you trouble about the finger pokes or insulin injections. I'm sending ![]() ![]() that your DS's blood sugar levels out soon! |

| Eileen ~ What a wonderful attitude your family has adopted! That is so important. This story was identical to my 12 year old nephew's story a year and a half ago. I am so happy to say that he has adjusted wonderfully. He also started on an insulin pump this summer and all I can say is...WOW. What wonderful technology we have these days. He is very active in football, baseball and basketball and has never let this disease get in his way. He, too, had a circle of friends who took the time to understand diabetes and the effects of it. My continued ![]() ![]() ![]() for you and your family!!!

| Continued ![]() and for your DS and your family. Please let us know if we can do anything. I know what it is like to get a diagnosis like that for your child, but with your wonderful attitude I know he will be just fine.

| Tons of & still coming your way. Sorry to hear things have been so bumpy lately, but I am impressed with the way you're all dealing with it (honestly, I wouldn't have expected anything less--your humor & positivity in all situations truly is a gift)! I that you have taught your special guy so well he's already figuring ways to use his diseeeeeeease against Karen! My guess is that it'll work better for him than you.
