| Pixies for my outside kitty We have my two indoor pet cats- but for the last year we have also been feeding a few feral cats outside. We have been taking great care of them and have been using TNR (Trap, Nueter, Release) so we can try to keep them from multiplying. We had the youngest one neutered last week. He is the sweetest kitty and we are trying desperately to find him a home. He should not be outside. He is way too kind and playful! (My cat will not allow him to come inside my house or I would take him in a heartbeat). Yesterday he started to drool. Today when I got home from work he was a mess- covered in drool. Instead of being the perky friendly cat he has been he just sat there meowing pitifully. Wouldn't eat either. The drooling and labored breathing scared me so much I rushed him to the vet. Well-- he is now there for the night. They have him hooked up to an IV and are trying to get him fluids. He has 105.6 tempature which is very high for a cat. I was talking to another person in my area that does TNRing and she said the same thing happen to 2 of her cats that were just neutered/ spayed but that the time she realized they were sick it was too late. They both passed away. Can you please send pixies for Pavorotti (he was named because he likes to meow/sing). He could definitely use them! I hope he makes it through the night!! Thanks!
